A great annual day out with the mates yesterday despite having zero picks enter the winner"s enclosure. Made up only in the last race because 3 of us agreed to stick a fiver each and split the winnings. Bellvano was one of the choices (not miine obv), coming in at 20/1  

Very sad to see the legend that is Kauto Star pulled up early in the Gold Cup, a very disappointing way to probably end his amazing career. I"m thinking now that maybe Synchronised could go on to fill his illustrious horseshoes after a fantastic run to follow on from his outstanding display in the Lexus. Meh, what do I know? I usually back donkeys  

So here"s to next year, looking forward to it already.

And now for something completely different...........my Christmas prezzie of tickets for Spamalot finally comes to fruition tonight as we"re off to the King"s Theatre in Glasgow for a night of jollity. Coconuts at the ready and even after such a dismal display by Scotland in the rugby I"ll always look on the bright side of life  

Did I hear one of you lot just whistling there?

Nice weekend was had (after the Saturday morning hangover passed). Glasgow"s King"s Theatre was packed out for the last night of Spamalot and a fun packed laughalot it was (but too short   ). The cast were superb, Todd Carty in particular and (very surprisingly coz I"ve never ever ever liked her) Bonnie Langford. Some magical funny songs and great scenes ("lovingly ripped-off" they advertise), great memories of Monty Python"s Holy Grail came flooding back and reminded me I"ve not watched any of the Python movies for way too long. Must rectify v soon!

Then there was Week 2! Almost 500 runners again, a Scottish winner, a Scottish Team triumph with 3 final tablists and top points. What more could a man ask for? A better dealer maybe when you"re ahead pre then also hit on the flop? Meh!

Right so I"m in that place that shouldn"t be named, but I"ll give you a clue.....Yorkshire"s in it! At my brothers for the weekend and managed to download WH to my netbook no probs for tomorrow night. Different story with Stars, which is telling me my password"s wrong after downloading the software NO IT"S NOT!!! Get a grip Stars, it"s the same password I"ve used in previous 2 weeks and now you"re telling me Im gonna miss week 3? Not a happy man and not keen to reset my password, especially as the software is asking for my e-mail address to send the new password to (surely Stars already know this?).

Emailed Stars security last night and still no reply. Feel utterly hopeless coz I can"t access my pokerstars or Hotmail to change my passwords so I"m fearing the worst the longer this drags on   Looks like I"m def out of the online league game tonight as well so gutted about that too
