Coventry G
« on: November 28, 2010, 10:22:48 AM »
I"ve been to Coventry once before, but on a week night, and it was pretty dead....  when it was listed on the APAT schedule, I had reservations - given that my one previous experience was not much to talk about.

I have to say though - yesterday I thought it was just about the best G experience I"ve had. The casino itself is extremely stylish; the dealers dealt with smiles on their faces; the valets were always on hand; and the atmosphere and ambience later in the evening was fantastic.

All in all - a great day out. Hope Coventry is on the schedule again next year!!

Agree with all this except for an "all nighter" they shut the bar at 3am - meant we had to go home! :(

Can we have more stuff here though?  Great venue!

Absolutely agree with this. You wouldnt believe that the casino was in Coventry, it was really stylish. Same as Luton but better and without uptight dressing laws. The inexperienced dealers coped really well and were willing to learn from more experienced players and kept smiling throughout which is a rare commodity these days. Then there was the girls, Anthony, evil (she was lovely really!) and most importantly the gorgeous Alex who were absolutely fantastic and had to endure some serious banter from me and others!

Had a fantastic time, really gutted there is not a British based APAT for a while now!

Glad everyone enjoyed it. I play at the G Cov about 3 times a month and have always liked the venue.

I hope APAT uses the venue again.   ;)

I imagine it was from either Reuben or Carl? They"re both good lads and know what they"re doing.
