Mrs B and I arrived in Lloret safe sound, sunny 16 degrees today but got cold this evening though not at all like the home version of COLD!!!!

Hotel (Excelsior) is really nice very modern decor and staff very friendly though they have been kept busy delivering beer out front to some geordie lad named Stu?

Looking forward to the troops arriving tomorrow.

Goodnight all.

Be careful of your valuables. This region, especially Barcelona has a bad image. 2000 pickpocktetings per day!  ;)

All APATers seem to have arrived safely in LdM. I was expecting a sort of cross between Benidorm and Beruit but to be fair it"s not bad at all. Paulie, Pables and I had a fantastic paella last night in a back street restaurant which would rival anything anywhere. with a starter, garlic bread, wine and water as well, it was just 25 euro per head.

Can report that the Stockton Massive were in full voice until the early hours, particularly the chief scout who seems to think that everyone else is either deaf or very hard of hearing.

p.s. very interesting listening to a conversation between said chief scout and Colmcg. I"m absolutely certain neither could understand the other, I know I couldn"t. Both speaking Spanglais with funny accents....priceless. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I promise to upload some photos and interviews from the weekend when I get the chance between recovery and work. I

am still Mybad and don"t ever want to see a drink again.........unless Curlarge is buying  ;D...............report and photos

to follow.

Have had a fantastic weekend,- didn"t do much wrong in the poker other than get knocked out-, and it"s thanks to

Leigh and Tighty for their extremely hard work, Betfair for the free booze and Tracey(the wife) for allowing me to go.

Well done Beth on your magnificent silver, unlucky Glenn on not finding another couple of rivers from heaven  ;D and

well done Robbie, perhaps if I hadn"t mentioned to him that he was going to be late he may have fared differently and of

course extremely unlucky Gary Palmer on making day 2 but not making the cash(it"ll come).

As I say stories to follow sore head now finally dissipated.........Roll on Bolton :)
