Juan has a stack of well over 100k.

Made a raise to 15k

Joan shoved for around 45k.

You do the maths  ;)     I think you may just be right, but it"s been a very tight first two levels so far.

Gerard Navarro is allin with AJ and finds some interest from Robbie Lakes with pocket sixes

The sixes hold, and we lose Gerard Navarro in 18th place.

Ever tried to give a ruling in Spanish and English simultaneously?

Robbie Lakes raises to 18,000 utg and the big blind shoves. Robbie says "fold" and flips 9-9

Except every Spaniard thinks he has said "call" and the shover flips "Q-Q" excitedly

Ruling!

Much excited jabbering. and that"s just Leigh.

Eventually Beth MacInnes backs up Robbie and says she heard "fold". The dealer can"t say as he doesn"t speak English

The ruling is its a "fold".

blinds up 4000-8000/500

17 left

Only 4 players lost in two levels, but it will have to speed up soon

Out in 17th goes Xavi Cantero

A raise, rerasie, allin, saw Juan Delgado Lopez eventually folf  ac jc, to leave

Xavi Cantero with  ah th  and

Gabriela Herranze with  9c 9d

The nines are good, Xavi is out, and Gabriela more than doubles up.

Table respect for Beth.

Josep Costa raise to 18k from early position.

Beth shoves for 43k next to act.  It folds round and he fold pretty quickly.

Beth up to 75k

Why do people flip their cards over when they"re folding anyway?  What"s the point?  Hark at me I can lay big hands down?  Apart from creating confusion like this doesn"t it just make you a target for the bullies.

And the bubble is burst.

Daniel Moriana shove his one big blind stack, gets a caller.

Caller and the big blind check down the board of T 5 6   T    A

The callers pocket nines take the pot and Daniel exits in 15th place.

Excited jabbering.  I was silent.  To be honest, I was stood behind the dealer, and I thought Robbie had made the call, had started scribbling he"s run nines into queens, only for it all to unfold and everyone at the table get involved.
