what a farce i played this and am pretty disgusted to find out today that the player who won this event actually classes himself as a pro player who saya and this is a direct quote

"Basically, Im not pushing something i dont believe in. I paid to attend camp (more $$$ than ours fwiw) and saved up for flights etc and now I play professionally and live very comfortably from my earnings, which was always the aim of the game. "

i know im gonna get all the sore loser rants and replys but if you dont believe me then check out this link. your apat team event champion is firaldo87

The APAT UK Team Championship is a unique event in our calendar.  Forums/Groups are invited to enter a team and the captain has an open selection to pick whomever they wish to, that will represent their forum/group.

Just wanted to check something.

This is the UK Team Championship, it isn"t the Amateur UK Team Championship - so am I right in assuming that professionals can play if they want to?

yes. Look forward to Messrs Channing, Persaud and the rest then!

you dont even get the irony in his answer do you?

its an event organised by the Apat for the AmateurPAT so how can anybody justify a pro playing.

for the record i was on his table quite alot of the time and i thought he was a nice lad. then again so was Suriner Sunar when i was on his table in the IPO but that wasnt the AIPO.

The way APAT term "pro player" means that APAT is full of pro players playing regular live and online but I cannot understand why this would be a problem to anyone, don"t lose any sleep, get over it.
