Royal Station (single) is costing me £180 (refundable) for the three nights....I may have to re-think once I get a seat.

Apropos of nowt....there are 2 Wetherspoons establishments within 5 minutes of the County and Royal Station Hotels for a cheap breakfast.

In addition, there is 3rd inside "The Gate" which is where Aspers is located.

No need to pay for that expensive hotel breakfast!

Hotel chain Premier Inn is selling 50,000 spring rooms for £19 per night, including dates over Easter. The sale launches 9am Friday 25 March 2011.

Where can I go? There are 590 UK hotels to choose from, including Edinburgh, Manchester and Cardiff.

When can I go? You can stay 7 April to 2 May 2011, including the Bank Holiday weekends. There"s no minimum stay.

How do I get it? Book via this special Premier Inn page from 9am Friday 25 Mar 2011. There are also 600,000 rooms at £29 for 3 May 2011 - 29 August 2011, leftover from a previous sale, which you can book now.

Bargain if you know you"re playing Newcastle.

It"s OK as long as it"s not "spammy"...saving money on APAT trips is more than OK.

Looks like that link takes you to HERE but that actual offer referred to above isn"t live yet.

With a Metro station located at Newcastle International Airport, travelling by Metro couldn't be easier.
Travelling to Newcastle city centre

The journey takes 25 minutes to reach Newcastle city centre.  There are trains every 12 minutes from approximately 5.44am (Sundays 6.27am) to 11.58pm.
