It"s Max to win for me, the rest of you fighting over the second medal

He"s class...

From his posts on here I get the impression Mr Ward needs no help in boosting his poker ego! ;)  Whoever wins I"m sure it"ll be another cracker, disappointed I couldn"t make it back down to my adopted home city for this, good luck to all and I"ll have to make do with the excellent updates.

Tony "1 Leg" Curran is in fine form, and if he brings his Groucho glasses, you might as well give him the medal now. I"d go as far to say as that he"s the best uniped poker player in the UK :)

Other predictions include Swinebag22 joining him at the final table, and the casino forgetting to tell any dealers there"s a big tournament on...

The blind optimism from certain people is much appreciated but I fear its just a ploy to create a lengthy thread!!  It worked, look at how quickly people came out to can the notion, and who can blame them!

Im really looking forward to it and who knows, if lady luck shines I may have a chance...of being bought a drink by Des! ;D

I"m sure I saw folk posting odds of 2/1 on you winning this weekend Max ...

and odds of 10/1 on Des making it to the bar area ...

Be safer to put the money on you winning it Max.

If someone"s willing to play Bookie, I"d like to see odds of some of the Scottish qualifiers;

Blair "DJKebab" Kirkland
Jim "CELTICRIVER7" Lang
Andy Morrison

I"m willing to bet on a win for each of the above if anyone"s offering odds ...

Neil,

I reckon one way or another Jim Lang will make a BIG impression in Manchester.

Only joking Jim and I hope you do well down there.

Often the correct decision is the hardest to reach
