I was under the impression that the points system was weighted in favour of the online player, and maybe I still do, to some small degree. If that was truly the case though, then the top of the table would be dominated by those online players. Yet both Darren Shallis and Simon Auckland, to name two, are both up there having got most of their points "live".
To say that "anyone can win a few online games" is a little off the mark, and even if it were true, a few wins online isn"t going to take you to the top of the rankings.
As I said earlier, I was sceptical of the weighting towards the online player at the start of the season, and maybe it needs a little tweaking for season 3. But imho, Des and the team got it pretty close to spot on this season.
