For the final hand, Simon pushed with    td and was called by Stuart who was holding  kh

The board read  :: js ts meaning that Simon Turton wins with 2 pair and is the new APAT UK Amateur Champion!

Simon will take home £3,500 + Gold Medal + Trophy + GUKPT Event Seat for 2008, valued at £1,250.

For finishing in second place, Stuart takes home £2,250 and a Silver Medal.
