just to let people know the travelodge is just £32 a night for a family room when the worlds are on

I would wait for an announcement here. With 15k stacks this could be a 3 dayer.

Hi there

Could someone please confirm whether for the ME
we are going to play a Day1a on Saturday, a Day1b on Sunday and Day 2 on Bank Holiday Monday like last year

I know it"s miles off but I have to try and get a few things sorted around then.....

That is the plan. 15000 starting chips, later finishes all days likely to play it out before tuesday!

Is there going to be a cap on the main event (& side event) numbers?

Also, what will the buy-ins be (Same £75?).

last year there were 425 players spread over 2 day one"s, the buy-in is £100.
the side events  heads up was capped at 32  
don"t remember the rest as i only entered 3 tournaments and the above were 2

think the numbers might be down a little this year as there is a comp on in coventry called the goliath with £100 buy-in but 100k pot  and 25k starting stack but saying that there day1s are monday to friday so if people are out they can play both if they reg the apat day1b on the sunday

Do APAT have an idea when the buy-in for this will open?

I"d guess just after Glasgow (so the 1st week of August)...that should give plenty of time for satellites & stuff.

I don"t guess this at all based on previous years. Please don"t put words in my mouth.
