Do the players already committed to the Home nations game get an automatic seat reserved (think they should btw)

As I noticed a few names missing that I know are playing that event, just a thought that some may think they have auto reg to the National event

they buy into a seperate tank for the weekend event, so a seat is reserved for them effectively

team captains have the passwords for that tank and the team members need to buy in asap please

I"m waiting for the 60 (or 30, or 0) mins late reg period.

Apart from the long distance tournaments, this one has to be the first ever that has fallen short of a full registration.  It MUST be because of the easter dates.  I also understand that there are a number of people playing the team games and then going home and not playing the main event.  I was a bit shocked by this, but family is family I guess.  Maybe APAT should have avoided this date..!

For the 900th time, because we were unfortunately late in scheduling (arranging the S5 sponsorship) this was the only date free in April (or early/mid May) for the Championships.

Combining with the Home Internationals for a four day APAT stay in newcastle looked a good option because it was one fewer day off work (Good Friday) for those players in  the team event, and (Easter Monday) no day off work on the way home either

I too am surprised that quite a few of the team players aren"t playing at the weekend. Wasn"t quite what I expected, but then again I am probably guilty of not having a life and not doing much at Easter normally, so underestimated it!

The event itself is over 100 runners as it stands and will sell out with local players, in my strong opinion
