I shall be going sometime in Jan "08 to play a £100 freezeout.  Would be good if a group of us could organise going down for the same day.  Any interest add your name!

Maybe next time, but I have a distinct lack of holiday days left until my new holiday year starts in April, and if I"m going to Nottingham to play I"d probably look to make it a long weekend.

It"s definitely worth going if anybody is thinking about it, and is in a position to go, Dusk till Dawn is a great place to play and you won"t regret it.

I"m going to be spending A LOT of time there.  It"d be criminal not to as it"s only 40 minutes from me.

Everyone who"s been has said how amazing the place is.  I think they had some teething problems with the valets - but they can"t be any worse than those from last weekend.

I"ll probably be up for the tournament.  Put my name on the list.

Ah Mr Tubs AKA Russell Johnston, would be a pleasure to catch up again!
Not sure what days are what games at present, but I know there are plenty of cash and sngs to go at if there isnt a suitably priced MTT.

Will have a look at in more detail given that a few people seem keen.

More to follow I guess!

There are regular £50 freeze-outs.  Thursday nights I believe...

Last night at dusk till dawn we had our 2nd £50 tournament, the cap was 108 which was met with 30 minutes to go and we ended up with 26 alternates. Amazingly 24 made it in during the first hour making a total prizepool of £6600 and over £2250 to the winner !

In our first £50 last week we had 119 players and 6 cash games, well the word must be spreading.

The cash games tonight started at 8.15pm and by 11pm we had 9 from £0.50 £1 to £2 £5 No Limit and a £5 £5 dealers choice , we peaked at 1am with another £5 £5 dealers to give us 10 cash games and 2 STT running, most continued till 3am then we had 5 running till 5am and 3 for most of the last hour.

Thanks to all of you for playing at dusk till dawn.

this certainly looks like the place to be, and I can see a few more similar models popping up around the country.

I see they are being cautious with the field sizes for the tourneys, but it wont be too long before the venue is at capacity.

If i cant get into cardiff, then i"ll be up for going down sometime in january, otherwise I"ll wait for the APAT live lull in Feb/March.

What are the chances that the venue (TBA) for the european championship will be held here???

The original plan was certainly to hold a big APAT event there.  If they can get enough dealers it can hold well over 400 runners at once!

Id be interested in going, Hope they do hold the european there altho with it being a 400 seater field, would there then be more prestige for winning that event than the world amateur championship?

How about all the APAT events at DTD?  You reckon Grosvenor would go for that?

;D
