Wow that takes me back. I have been at Edgworth CC on many occasion in my former Cricket pro ing days, we had some right royal duels with the lads from Edgworth! Locky, Dexter, and wasn"t Millsy Pro there as well?

Do we know how the 15 teams will be selected and how/when the buy-in will be paid please? Just so I can make sure my fellow pub players are ready to part with their cash!!

I"m not sure of the criteria (but a small gratuity might work wonders  ;D).

I believe that the general thought was that the captains would collect their teams buy-ins and pay them in one lump via an 888 tank much like a normal event.

That way there are only 15 to collect rather than a 120..simpler all round.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet.

No.

He was indeed.  Locky and Dexter are still playing.  Current captain Guy Haines and Nicky Kernick (who I"m sure you will know - he"s been a mainstay of the team for years) are regulars at the poker night, as are quite a few of the younger players.

Another man you will know, Andy McIlroy, has his very own hand named after him in the game.  It is 96 off and he once won a big pot with this killer hand when he flopped a full house!

Yep I was trying to remember other players and Andy Mc was one that came back to me, say high to them, Mike Scothern, I was pro at Atherton for 6 years, so I think they"ll remember me. I would love to make it over for your poker night one sunday.
