888poker.com APAT Scottish Amateur Poker Championships

DRESS CODE

Smart casual, no sportswear.

REGISTRATION


This club operates a Think 21 Policy and new members who are or appear to be under 21 years of age are required to produce official photographic I.D.


ENTRY FEE


888poker.com APAT UK Scottish Amateur Poker Championship: £75 per person, a registration fee will not be charged. A Player List will be on this thread shortly. Capacity is 120 players plus Alternates.


SCHEDULE


This event will run over two days.  Play commences at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Play is expected to finish at around 2.00am on day one.  Players left in will return for a 2.30pm start on Sunday, with the final expected to finish around 10.00pm that evening.

Due to the nature of tournament Poker, end of day timings are estimated.

On Sunday 31st July there will be a side event, £25+£5 No Limit Hold-em: Six Max beginning at 3pm. Entries for this will open not before 4pm on Saturday afternoon.

REMAINING SEATS


Some seats remain for this tournament. They will be put on sale on Saturday 30th July, not before midday. First come first served. Payments on the day will be cash only, for £75


PRIZES

The prize pool breakdown for the Scottish Amateur Championship event will be finalised once numbers of Alternates are known

As an indication with 120 runners and a total Prize Pool of £9,000, first prize will be in the region of £3,000


The winning player will receive the Championship trophy and the top individual finishers will win Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

The individual winner of the event will also win a UKIPT seat courtesy of 888poker.com.

Please note that all entrance fees will be paid out in prize money.  APAT will not retain any fee for running this event for our members.

BUFFET

There will not be a buffet for players at this event. The venue has both a restaurant and a bar menu to order from throughout the day


PRESS

Journalists from a number of Poker magazines and a photographer will be present on both days.  We hope to feature a number of images from the tournament on our website and in APAT Magazine after the event.

By entering this tournament you accept that your image may be used in APAT TV, press and marketing campaigns.

LIVE UPDATE

Technology allowing, APAT intend to run a live update on the event and we will be posting player pictures and chip counts throughout the weekend.  Feel free to tell your friends and family, who can follow your progress on the forum.  Guests will need to register on the forum to see pictures from the event.  Registration is free.
