I"m speechless.

Many thanks to Neil and all his team at Les Croups.   It"s been a great weekend, and we"re off to the bar to take up the numerous offers of drinks that we"ve had.

Thanks Leigh and Tighty, great weekend, enjoyed my first APAT FT.
HU would have been over a lot quicker if it was C-Head Jon and I!
But congrats to Lukas, I wanna know how much he wooped and holla"d when he won?

Dunno if it was covered earlier, but Lukas got his aces cracked by KQ early in Day 2 and was down to around 3BB, chip and chair FTW  ;D

Well played Lukas, I was on your table when your aces were cracked by Bob"s KQ to take you down to about 3BB didn"t see you coming back from that

I think we have now beaten the "Redfern", the longest ever APAT tournament, Walsall 2008 2009
Well played all

FYP - Pedantry ftw  ;)

the first APAT to be played on a Monday

In five seasons, and about 50 Nationals, it had to happen sooner or later

Apart from The Worlds where we always play Mondays   :o

Come on Tighty, anyone would think you"d only had 3 hours sleep in the last 48 or something  ;D

Get out with you man! It was Walsall 2009, and it was a 01:45 finish!!!  I remember it (quite) well.

WP Lukas, and to all other finalists.

How Dave Howard didn"t win this is beyond me!!

Thanks to Tighty and Leigh as ever. (and to the Sgt"s dog for creating a Tighty story that made me smile)

No idea why my missus is wondering when Donny Osmond is arriving though.....

After a diabolical error with pocket queens which left me having nightmares saturday night and in poor position for Day two, it had a silver lining - I got knocked out the Holdem ealy enough to enter the Hi LO tournament where I managed 2nd place much to my surprise - that paid for the weekend and turned a nightmare into a sweet dream.  Hats off to Henry who was by far the better (and lucker lol ) player.  It crowned an enjoyable first live event with APAT Thanks to all involved.
