Pub Team Championships - COME ON CAPTAINS!!

How many players have registered now?  Even with 19 teams of 8 players that is 152 players, and last night there weren"t many over 80 regged??  (Sorry at work so don"t have access to 888.com to check position).

Reg was supposed to be complete by last night - only 80 from 160 are registered so far!

Guessing that if people don"t register, the event gets canned? that won"t give a great impression of value for our sponsors, and will leave a lot of people out of pocket where they"ve paid in advance for lodgings!

We will be at 20 teams of 8 at the moment.

92 of the 160 players are registered.


9 teams have completed registration

4 teams have a few players to chase up

4 teams have some extra time due to being on the reserve list and have now been invited


And as for these 3 teams, nothing from the captains as of yet.

We"d like to avoid that.

If a team has 5 bought in currently say, and 3 still to buy in...the holding tank then closes...and a team decides to withdraw...there will be no refunds

I could possibly get a second team entered if that would help.  I certainly look like I"ll have 4 or 5 people going down who are not in the side, all of whom play in the pub.  Let me know if this would be allowable and if you want me to try and get a second team and I"ll see if I can get another 2 or 3 players.

The aim is to obviously get everyone bought in online, but if some teams don"t do that either through disrespect towards the organsiers depsite repeated requests, laziness or organisational difficulty then they have to pay in somehow...
