Triple crown winner Jake Cody

Jake Cody takes down the $25,000 n/l heads up event at WSOP..Has now become only the third player in history to achieve the triple crown. Joins Gavin Griffin, and Roland De Wolfe in pokers elite to take down a WPT, WSOP and EPT title. Awesome to do this at such a young age aswell, must be feeling on top of the world right now.

i know a few people who have played against or spoken to him, supposed to be real sound and genuine. Amazing that he hasnt got a sponsorship deal yet.

Yes I think he would turn down the likes of Stars. Atm anyway, because no doubt he"s already been offered and the lack of stars merchandise on him indicates that he hasn"t accepted.

He buys himself in but does sell shares of his BI.

Thing is, he may be on a heater at the moment, but that won"t/can"t last at the level he"s at.... his win-ratio has to decline over time, and at that point, his worth to a sponsor decreases hence so does any deal he signs...... surely best to sign a deal with a sponsor now that ties him in to a long term earnings profile that is based on his current massive profile and win-ratio.

He must have been plagued prior to the FT to have patches stuck all over him. So someone is probably advising him to say no or he has some kind of non site agreement behind the scenes that he"s happy with. Let"s face it he"s not Darvin Moon.

We could just ask Maylis to ask him  ;D
