Matt Perrins wins event 9... 2-7 lo draw.. seems like the brits are gonna do well this year, hope Sam Trickett or Toby Lewis can add to the braclet haul..  John Eames is sitting pretty entering day3 of the 1k eventbuy in event 8 .... 17th with 60 left... Hatrick of braclets for the brits??  ???

And Perrins hadn"t even played 2-7 before the event. Must be nice.

So Darren Woods from Grimsbeh takes the third one, though he only had to beat a girl to win.

And the Hellmuth-hater clones are proved wrong yet again as he gets HU for another bracelet. How can people think he is past it when he keeps making final tables every year?

Probably because his hold em game is pretty flawed

Yeah, shame about that would have loved him to win.

Think Hellmuth has only won braceletes in Hold em, but the game has changed so much these last few years (bigger fields/ more agressive preflop etc), and thats why people are saying he is getting left behind because he hasnt really adapted his game.

I met him in 2006 and railed him when he won braclet number 10. I thought he was a geniune nice guy and his tv image is exactly that - an image (which also happens to make him a lot of money)
