If your looking for cheaper parking go to PARKOPEDIA.CO.UK type in merchant city & they should give you a list of 10 car parks all just a few mins walk from the casino with postcodes & directions etc ! Hope this helps anyone looking for a space for the weekend !!

Capacity is 120, which means there will be between 20-25 seats available direct from the casino.

We will liaise with the cardroom staff when we get there on the Friday night, but usually in this situation, we will make them available on a first come first served basis from noon on the Saturday (That is unless the venue have allocated any seats in the meantime)

Once the 120 filled, we will run an alternates list for the first two levels (90 mins), where we normally get anything from 2-8 more players into the event.

Failing that, you can always hang around and register yourself for the 6max side event that is taking place on the Sunday.

Hope that all makes sense.

except when the APAT Scotland was at the maybury and it got 0 alternates in because noone bust.. muggins here was #1 alternate.

Technically yes, but it"s not something we can enforce if you are buying in locally....although it would be nice if you supported the sponsor by chucking a few bob their way.

Thanks for the reply Paulie.

I understand where you are coming from with regards to 888.  I can now only play live poker,( FT screwup ), but thought I would buy into this game to see what the game, and the players, are like locally.

If I make some money in this I will open an account.

IF there is a problem not having account I would rather not waste time and money on parking, travel, etc if I wont be allowed to play ( ok, I am taking a chance that a seat will be available, as there are about 20 spots ) but getting refused an open seat for no 888 account would be a nuisance

Generally a few local players play in every tournament.

having an 888 account allows you to play the sats and buy in direct early, there is no requirement to have an account.... you just get a benefit from doing so.

plus APAT also benefits because we get added value from our sponsor (UKIPT seat, no reg fees), so we ask that people support the company that supports us, because ultimately it is our members that benefit.

No-one will be checking live buy-ins to ensure they have accounts on the day...there are more important drinks to be drunk things that will need attention.
