I had a couple of nights in the smoke this week :
Fox Poker Club - Enjoying their license extension till 06:00am, I had 4hrs £1-£1 cash action, overall pretty loose with everyone chasing every draw including Pair draws!! Lol when I won a £65 pot with 7 high, after a missed draw occurence for me and the Villan. Unfortunately couldn"t make the most of it and left stuck a little.
Western Club - Only hotel I could get was out in Ealing so made it down to the Western, I have played there a few times and have always found a friendly crowd. It was clear that there was a mourning period in full swing as many of the resident FTP players were bemoaning the current shutdown and uncertainty. I entered the £30 (5K) + £10 (1addon for 5K) + 3Kchips FOR £5 (juice) + (unlimited reentry for 50mins) tourney, is it me or are things getting complicated nowadays! Unfortunately only 16 runners but crazy amount of re-entries with a guy on my table making 4 just by himself! Anyhow was able to secure chips earlyon with careful play and was ave on FT. Decided to play carefully and had plenty of battles with the crazy guy from before, every time I raised he just went all in every time lol. Luckily I found qs qh, raised all in for 20BB and was told "Now its time to bust yeah and I call". The Villan"s Q 9 off came up short and happy days. Picked my spots and got it 4 handed with Mr crazy who I took pleasure in relieving him of his chips. Came 2nd after to and fro headsup so I was quite happy, even with 02:30 finish.
