Completely New User....please help!!

Hey guys, I have just came accross this and it seems a great way to play "properly" with fellow players and good prizes. Can anyone enter the live events and how does it all work? Thanks so much for any feedback in advance,

Welcome to APAT Rob.

Our events are open to any amateur poker players.

We run one live event per month.  Satellites and direct buyin is available on our partner site, 888poker.

The week before a live event, we will run an online equivalent, also on 888poker.

We class a pro player as someone who solely makes their income from poker, anyone else is fine by us.

Any doubts, we are happy to look into individual circumstances.

To be honest, it kind of a self-policing process anyway, as full time pro"s wouldn"t want to be embarassed playing against our excellent amateur players.  


We should be announcing details around the WCOAP in Nottingham in the next week or so.

I"m in Colchester so not too far from Luton. I"m going to set up a 888 poker account and then go from there...thanks for your help

Welcome to APAT.. im from Ipswich and play for Luton, also Alamo is from East Bergholt and plays for us.. so i reckon you qualify for Luton  ... gl at the tables.. if your thinking of playing the worlds at the end of August make sure to say hi
