Well, have been spending a fair bit of today reading PMs and all I can say is that the enormity of this task is hitting home. I can honestly say that every single person who has PM"d me so far would deserve a place on the team.
Obviously, I can"t pick everyone (as you know) and people will be disappointed (as you know) and I really appreciate the supportive comments that everyone has made so far.
I will keep on taking PMs for this, but will set a deadline of midnight on Sunday 24th July for people to register their interest. I intend for the team to be finalised and made public as soon as possible after that, and certainly before the Scottish Champs the following weekend.
I will reply to all PMs initially with an impersonal "received and under consideration" just to let players know that I have received it, but once I finalise the team, I will reply personally to everyone.
