Anyone else catch Ivan Freitez angle-shooting in the EPT Grand Final the other day on TV?
Basically, he hit a full house on the river and when the other guy bet out he stated Raise, then quickly said "Erm, no i mean call", then claimed his English was bad saying "No English". The floor manager was called over and he stated to the other guy involved that he had done the same thing at least 3 other times in the tournament and that he should know this but as he had stated raise he had to make the min raise. The guy eventually called (lord knows why given the information he had!) and lost the hand.
Everyone at the table looked disgusted and even the Thomas Kremser the floor manager looked like he wanted to slap the guy.
Good of the floor manager to give the guy having to make the call the information. Just a pity he couldn"t do more to stop it, especially as he knew exactly what he was doing.
Bad enough to see this kind of thing down your local casino but in the EPT Grand Final i"d have expected better.
