Just been pointed to this thread by Dave "allthecash" Garden. Usually he lets me know alot earlier however think he is still drunk from his recent APAT victory

not sure if this has been asked; Why is this not january like normal?


The reason that we moved this event was due to having several away legs in the second half of this season.  So for example we have legs in Ireland, USA, Czech Republic in addition to a pro-am.  To have the UK Team event in January would have meant a lot of our regular players not getting a game between the WCOAP ending and the end of January.

i think for this reason we shouldn"t have this event and have a normal two day event instead. as a result regular players(like last year) wont have a game for the rest of the year using the exact argument mentioned above.

Yes

The chances of finding a weekend without a clash are remote

The vast majority of players potentially in this won"t be Dublin bound, anyway.
