88 players qualified 54 turned up so plenty of value.
I cruised to 50k 1st break and made it to 15 remaining with 75k(total chips 750k)
Then they started talking about a deal , everyone was in agreement except me who said i wasnt interested yet and was"nt willing to discuss it until the FT.
A couple of players were knocked out and it was down to 12ish
During this time I was pressured by individuals to accept the deal which i refused.
Blinds now 4000/8000/ante1000
I was dealt  ks kh utg which i raised to 20k

and the flop comes A high
I stupidly push and he calls
Board offers no help to me and Im left with less than 2bb
Next hand i push my stack with  :: :: on the bb

I take it down and Im back to about 45k
Next hand I get  ah ::
folds to me  and i call
bb checks
and the flop if 8 high
I push and he insta calls with A7

The wee dick was giving it all the "I wont ever make a deal with you again", "I hope you lose" 5hit for the previous hour.
I sucked out on him with the   :: on the turn and he went off his nut.
The river bricked for him and he karate chopped his chips all over the place, I said wtf are you doing ya wee dick and he went for me.
Luckily for me there was a waitress between us and she held him back.

The TD hit the panic button and the bouncers were all over the place within 30 secs.
It calmed down and the wee dick came and offered me his own home hmade humble pie, which i duly accepted.
He was actually the final table bubble and gof £110
Before a hand was dealt on the FT we made a deal and took £350 each... I said anything for an easy life.
One of the VVanks pushing hardest for the deal , pushed as hard for the dealers and TD to get £10 from each player.

Was at cins on Monday....small turnout so only 3 get paid....anyways 4 left...3 regs n me being the shorty...now I know they always do a saver....but I"m not embarrasing myself by asking....then the tables turn...I"m now cl....when one of the regs says we are having a saver right?....I wish I"d have said take your saver n shove it...but I just smiled at him knowingly,he understood....then I find myself saying ok,anything to keep the peace.....still won it though...n no deal hu.....I deducted it was +ev not to have a target on my back for the next time.....

That"s a disgraceful scenario, I hope they barred the ned! What"s the point in the casino running this if the villains just want a percentage of the outlay. Kinda makes the whole thing farcical if they"re trying to a get a 15 way chop ffs   They"ll never achieve anything scrapping over a couple of hundred quid mate

agreed, totally shocking scenario, the guy deserves a good slap and a lifetime ban!! IMO there no point chopping before final 3 to want to chop before the final table is just insulting to the the game!!

Yeah bad poker etiquette alround.. Players should accept the no deal as what happens on all major sites, any discussion of chops have to have 100% agreement... Also calling the guy a "wee dick" really doesn"t help the matter just adds fuel to the fire IMO, you won the pot took some of his stack have a little chuckle on the inside or I find just saying "unlucky" ( obv not meaning it  ) makes your point come across..

Was reading a fellow players twitter message yesterday when he raised from the button, guy in the big blind shoved so APAT player folded he proceeded to flip over 7/2 then called him a "****er"...  That kinda thing tilts me if I see it at a poker table.

Interesting situation at Star City in the summer.

The regulars had played for months in a league, with the top 70 qualifying for a shot at 19k. They played most of the day until they reached the last 19, when someone suggested a deal at 1k each. One of my mates was chip leader by a mile, but to save any friction agreed. I questioned his decision when told the story. He explained " how do you tell the people that you regulary play with that you are going for the first prize, when a grand to them is significant money"

I have dealt in the past, but this one does seem strange

I would only consider making a deal when HU or at a push 3way if chipstacks are about even. But I only usually have to make that decision when there"s a few hundred pounds involved and I"m on my Tuesday night out playing poker!!

If there was a difference of thousands and not hundreds I"m sure I could be persuaded more easily. But would never expect to arrange a deal until at least the final table.

"Okay, we do a deal on chip-counts"
