Well that was a tough tourney!! Had Praz on my starting table, and taking him off a pot with triple barrell bluff early on was the highlight of my day. After that, it was all downhill.  Raised into the short-stacked Dave Scothern with 89s, and found myself having to spew call his shove and losing.  Ended up donking the rest to Paul Jackson when I shoved over his raise, and he couldn"t find a fold with AA.

I"ve seen a still of the TV tab on FB with AJ sat with AA and you"re on the button with 55. Is that the exit hand? If so he"s fairly early pos to be raising light?? What were the stacks?

Where"s the still pic? - wouldn"t mind a copy.

yeah it was the exit hand.  During the deal a K was exposed and burnt, prior to Paul opening in early position. I was in late position with 55 and only 8.5xBB.  I had been completely card dead since the early levels, and a pocket pair was an absolute premium for me - had to go with it and hope he had overs including a K, perhaps AK.  Also, the stacks to my left were massive, so it was unlikely I was going to get any LP steals through the blinds with my small stack.

Look on AJ"s profile. You"ll see your fives were dead to the straights and one flush. Usual binking territory for you  :o

Suzanne Hayward sandwiched between Barny Boatman and Chaz Chatta, also on her table Jon Seal and Jeff Kimber....wow! My brother has Joe Beevers on his immediate left and LBPN regular Steve Wiggins has Karl Marenholtz to contend with! Should be great fun, goodluck to all.

Was a very scary table, managed a couple of bluffs :) and took out Jeff Kimber tho tbf he was very short and my 22 in the bb happened to hit trips on a low board.

Also what was very interesting was that the tv live feed was being screened on a tv next to the bar!!! So basically if you wanted to know what your opponent had in a previous hand you could nip over to the other side of the room 15 mins later :/

It got to the stage where everyone basically just told everybody what hand they had as you could always find out 15 min later anyway. I had a friend who kept texting me through a few notes on players, it does seem pointless to ban phones at the table as you are going to find out next time you step away from the table. I"m not too sure it is exactly fair when other tables are not having their hands exposed or some players are getting info and others not, but it was certainly fun to play on.
We actually discussed that it would be even more fun/interesting and possibly fairer if they put the video feed right there at the table so everyone could see the hand 15 min later.

Surely that would be really embarassing if you do a nitty fold. And it would mean that others are gonna put you under pressure in the future because they know your a nit.
