And there was I thinking that I was just being sad to think of using my bronze as a card protector.  I"m glad I"m not the only one after all!   ;D

I saw the regional medals and immediately thought what excellent card protectors they"d make!

Must win one now...

Great advertising at tournaments!

The new medals really are quite nice.

I have a gold medal ::) - I just need a smaller one that doesn"t cover half the table.

I could use my trophy I guess?  ;D

Walsall was my first APAT tourney (hopefully not my last, depending on qualifying!!) - the chip quality was great and much better than those I"ve used before (apart from having them all taken off me the hand before dinner with KK against 10 Q !!!). APAT having their own chips would be a great idea.

Yeah...I have one..(only bronze unfortunately) and I can"t afford the diesel for the forklift to lift it off me cards.

Des, just an lil" idee (as t"were) how about a mini-medal for the National medal winners in addition to the stonking great lump of metal that"ll only sit on the mantlepiece. Something to carry around, use everyday and "fly the APAT flag"?

Otherwise, I"m thinking of descrating the big one and turning it into a belt buckle!
