Wife, two kids, comfortable middle management job, golf clubs in the boot, guitars gathering dust. A lot more chilled out than I used to be.
5 - WHAT IS YOUR POKER BACKGROUND?
Started playing home games 2002, Live at Notts Gala 2004 and DTD from the day it opened its doors. Played most of my online poker on Pokerstars, but mostly on DTD now.
6 - WHAT IS YOUR PLAYING STYLE?
Definitely on the tight side. In 2004 I was new school, but I'm pretty old school now. Like to think I've got some moves, but you won't find me three betting light very often.
7 - WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE POKER PLAYER AND WHY?
Negraneau. I like how open he is at the table. The polar opposite to hood up, shades on, music playing, which I'd never do.

9 - WHAT ARE YOUR POKER ACHIEVEMENTS?
Top cashes so far have been a £3100 and £2500 in Super50s, but I can feel a big cash coming
I was in a three way chop in my first ever live tourney at Nottingham Gala and made the first DTD final too.
10 - WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE ABOUT LIVE POKER CURRENTLY, THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?
Sometimes get a bit irritated by young lads talking to me like I'm an idiot, just because I see the game differently to them, but that's the same in life in general as you get older. Wouldn't change it though. Plenty of money to be made from setting traps for young guns who aren't as good as they think they are.
11 - HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT APAT?
At Blonde Bash 4 form Des and Tikay I think.
12 -WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT APAT TOURNAMENTS, STANDARD OF PLAY AND STRUCTURE?
Only APAT game so far was this year's DTD event. Great structure, but a bit of a mess around the end of day 1. Goal posts kept moving as to when we were stopping. Planning to hit the APAT tour fairly hard in season 6 so will get a better idea then.
13 - HAVE YOU PLAYED AT AN APAT LIVE EVENT AND IF SO, WHAT WAS MOST MEMORABLE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE?
Just the usual, remember the key hands that took me out. Frustrating semi-final, low cash.
14 - WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF POKER?
Recently taken up golf which is infuriating and addictive.
Spend a lot of time on the touchline watching the lad play football.
Don't get the guitars out as much as I used to, which is a shame.
15 - WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OR FILM?
As if I have time to sit and read or watch films.
16 - WHAT THREE MUSIC ALBUMS WOULD YOU TAKE TO A DESERT ISLAND WITH YOU?
Couldn't possibly get it down past the 500 or so tracks on my essential iPod mix, which is all sorts of rock, punk, metal, blues, folk. All guitar based.
17 - FINALLY, WHAT MESSAGE WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEAVE FOR YOUR FELLOW APAT MEMBERS?
No one's as good as they think they are or say they are, and they're ALL beatable.
