Quick look - it needs some work on hyperlinks; a fuller look might follow
a few of the winners need changing. eg Dasynski is in twice. Individual winner of the team event at Luton is wrong too
Excellent job Paulie, looks really great. Thanks for your efforts.

Which Season?
Superb!
Suggest links to hendon mob individual results for all the winners. Suggest links to hendon mob headline results for all the apat tournaments. Assuming we"re allowed to do that.
Paulie, can you put (APAT) in the article heading also please.

That sounds like a lot of overlinking to me and in any case, the HMDB isn"t entirely accurate.
It seems to think we were in the G Casino in Aberdeen...when we were in the International..for one
I might add a link to the APAT section of HMDB link to the References section.
Paulie, can you put (APAT) in the article heading also please.
Apparently not...I"m working on finding out why.

Try omitting the brackets? I want to make sure the page is equally available to "APAT" searches. Did it advise how long the page would take to permeate through wikipedia?

Oh, I understand why... but...No...it won"t let me edit the title at all.
I"ve had a quick look (on the interwebz) and you have to have had an account for 4 days (I believe) and have made 10 edits.
I"ll try again over the weekend.
If the title is not editable at all, then my best suggestion is that we create a new page and copy all of the content across. I know its ball aching, but it"s better to get it as near perfect as possible before it takes on a life of its own.
I was just about to suggest that we disambiguate Des. It sounds painful. ;D

That"ll be easy but you can"t DELETE the existing page...and that would be even more ball aching down the line.
Let"s not panic just yet...worst case, we can create a "disambugation" page to direct people to the right place.

Umm, you"re the boss...even if you are suffering a bit from premature postulation ;)

Yip looks great, good job Paulie... only thing wrong is that you have Stuart Ward only winning something in 2009.
The way he still bangs on about it, it must have been 2009. 2010, 2011, 2012 and probably all the events in 2012 x
Quick look - it needs some work on hyperlinks; a fuller look might follow
I know some of the hyper links don"t work yet WCOAP & Cash Tour for instance.
I"d check anything specific you might want to add with Des first....just to be nice.

It"s a nice start and should fill out nicely over time. Of course, you don"t need to make all the changes yourself, because it"s a wiki, so everybody can chip in to help (although people actually employed by APAT ought not to, I suppose?)
I think you"re going to need some citations to independent publications to backup the membership numbers and the "largest organisation" claims and things like that, though, otherwise they"ll be classified as unverifiable, original research. The tables of results don"t need those, though, imho. I"ve inserted the founding news article citation into the first sentence, but I"m too tired to search for others right now, sorry :o (closest thing in the standard smiley set to a yawn)
Good work. I"ve added a hyperlink to my Hendon Mob entry. Hope that"s ok.

I"ve looked through Wiki"s guidelines which seem to suggest that this should be avoided in the content of the articles (such as been done here).
External links (where they are used) should be placed in the section marked for such and we already have a link to the HMDB.
Would be interesting to know who the first person to ever be knocked out of am apat and get the sadly missed round of applause?

Well we could ask Kinboshi...I think he was there.

I think I remember who that person was. If I"m not mistaken (I"m not), he might have got a one off branded APAT shirt to commerate the special occasion. Do you still have it George? :)

Lol, the cheeky sods! You"d have thought I would have some sort of novelty value if nothing else :)
Oh you do Des....(http://www.gnomeandgarden.com/leprechauns.jpg)
No big deal Paulie, but for Season 4 English win I"m down as Ryan Wood. Now, Ryan is my middle name, and hey it"s a better name than Tod! but for accuracy"s sake...
Cheers, and well done, great effort.
NOTE TO SELF..
Add Blind Structure.

Can you remove the expandable on demand please - there"s no shortage of screen. ;)
Paulie - can you also link the "APAT launches" reference to this article http://uk.pokernews.com/news/2006/08/apat-poker-uk.htm instead of the casinoman article. Within the reference link section or similar, can you also add a link to APAT in the news - http://uk.pokernews.com/news/tags/APAT/
Thanks.

Aren"t Derek Murdle and Scott Wilson (Scottish 2009/2010 winners) both Scottish?
Aren"t Derek Murdle and Scott Wilson (Scottish 2009/2010 winners) both Scottish?
Derek is shown with an English flag in HMDB and I guessed at Scott (who doesn"t have a flag there).
On reflection, I should have remembered Scott being a sweaty.
Fixed.

Derek was most definitely Scottish.
Wasn"t his name Murdie?
Wasn"t his name Murdie?
That is how he"s quoted all over the APAT threads.
Fixed.
Can we change the Seasons Category heading to National Amateur Champions. I know there are a small number of exceptions, but that title reflects best what our players compete for.
Hawick is surely disputed territory.
English flag please!!
