OK I have hunted high and low on this forum for any mention of this but cant find anything.
If this is duplicating anything elsewhere on the forum Des feel free to remove this thread :)
Duncan Godfrey (Runadrum) has just placed 19th in the aussie millions winning over 60000 Australian Dollars.
I understand he qualified through an Inside Poker Freeroll.
He played on a feature table with Hachem, Black Seidel etc and won a hand against Ivey with a higher pocket pair.
From what I recall Duncan Godfrey played the European Event in Luton (Day 1a) and certainly played on my table in the Welsh event in 2007.
So congratulations to him, hopefully next year it will be the turn of a different Duncan!!!!

very well done

Duncan was also on my table in the uk champs in newcastle last year.
A great performance Duncan, very well done.

cheers for the mention dunc
I had hoped that the next APAT tournament would possibly the first test of my new-found confidence when playing live but I am unlikely to head to Vienna so will wait for the next one
and see you there
:)
-
A pleasure mate. I doubt I will be in vienna either as I am sure to donk off my chips in the sats and cant really justify the chunk out of my bankroll to pay my own way there
Happy to take a drink off you next time we are at the same venue mind!!!!!

This was an outstanding performance from Duncan, who is pictured below at the APAT European event at Luton. I would be very surprised if this does not make the "performance of the year" list at the end of 2008.
Well done Duncan!
