Title: Movin up a level!

FishPie Evilpie and myself will be getting bullied by the big boys tomorrow night. Might have to ask Tikay for some back up!  :o

Any other apaters goin to give it a go? Should be a great tournament.

I would LOVE to be playing this tonight but can"t due to:

1) My bankroll taking a big knock for the past 3 months
2) Mother"s day tomorrow- my wife would kill me

thought you would have known des! its the 25k guaranteed monthly deepstack the first weekend of every month

Ooops, didnt realise how little info was in my original post. 300 + 30 at dusk till dawn nottingham 2 day event starting at 7.30 pm 10,000 starting stack.

Rumour has it that it is the best competition and structure. Will report more tomorrow.

Rumour also has it there is a cheeseburger being served at 6.30pm

Good luck in it Stuart, you"ve shown that you have the game for a deepstack two day tournament, so business as usual and keep us updated on your progress.

Thanks Des, will keep you posted. Hopefully see u in edinburgh, if i can get round the fact im in Portugal when the regionals and clickfest are on!

Amazing comp as expected. Superb structure, many familiar faces, tikay, tightend, julian thew and a good 20 of the guys from Gala. Also had the pleasure of sitting next to a new face to me, but obviously a familiar face to many, RedDog and his many breakfasts!

As far as the poker goes i didnt have a great deal to play with, halved my stack to 5k when i made trip 10s with a queen kicker only for my opponent to show the other 10 with an  :as: kind of knew it was coming.

Worked my way back to 16k and sat on it for the proceeding 4 hours as every hand i was dealt involved a 6. A few mediocre hands later and i was pushing with top pair and called by an overpair. Out about 70th.

Evilpie went a hell of a lot deeper. Rather sick end to his evening at 4-30ish, with only 28 players left, he saw his average stack of 40k disappear in a puff of smoke when his pocket aces got beaten by pocket kings.  :"(
