Monday"s satellite (in the lobby) is showing as £20 and £2. Is that an error?

Holding tank is currently open in the lobby.  The timing needs to be amended on it, so anyone that does reg now will get booted out in the morning, so I wouldn"t waste your time.   ;D

Leigh.

Are the players in the Team Event guaranteed seats in the Main Event?

Yes, seats reserved to pay on the day, but more than welcome to satellite in online.

What is iCash Table?

Further Details to Follow, but it should be good

Loving the live schedule though...something for everyone.

There are a couple more things to announce, but we are just waiting on Genting to confirm a few details.  It"s going to be a packed weekend, and as you say, something for everyone.

I"d missed the seats for Team Players bit at the bottom of the OP and was editing my post but you managed to quote my original one anyway. :)

It"s going to be fun.

Will there be an idontCash Table or will that just be my usual table?

Update for those players in the team event

We would encourage you to satellite or direct buyin online prior to the event.  It will make it easier to control the numbers.  If you do need a seat reserved to buyin on the day, please drop me a pm well in advance, so I can make arrangements.

The casino will have an allocation of seats for the event aswell, so please give me plenty of notice of your intentions.

If you can satellite or direct buyin, please do so.

Thanks,

Leigh

Satellites and direct buyin are currently sat in the scheduled tourney lobby.

Search alphabetically on tourney names, they all start with APAT.......

To secure a seat you need to buyin online Split, you can turn up on the day and go on the alternate list but best to buy in ;)

Direct buy in will be open on Thursday.

According to their website there is a £30 F/O (8k stack) on Thursdays but that is for this week. Probably doesn"t change much.

Other than that there is a Grosvenor over the road but details there are few.

The rest of us will be in the pub.

Seen the £30 game. The G website is horrendous. Blonde used to be great for this kinda stuff up until they went all German 1940"s.

As for the pub I don"t get many passes these days so am cramming as much as possible on the poker front.

I was reading on the front page of one of the daily papers this morning that severe weather conditions are forecast for the end of November, including temperatures of minus 15 degrees and up to 3 feet of snow. Now I realise that these forecasts aren"t always accurate, but once you"ve bought in to the ME, if you don"t make it to the venue due to adverse weather conditions, I assume it"s no refunds, just tough luck ?

no just the main event

(in the absence of any Management amendment) the only live side events that get ranking points are the one"s in the European Championships and the World Championships

It is still in the Genting lobby and seems to still be open.

Click onto "Scheduled" on the left hand side of the Genting Lobby and the tournament is called "APAT UK". The buyin is £82.50+£0 so if you can"t find it put it in order of buyins and you should find it easily.

Let us know if you have a problem finding it

I would drop a PM to Des and Leigh (Chipaccrual) then they will able able to help if anybody can. Seats are often held back for the venue so there may be one or two still available. They usually do alternates as well.

PS - Anybody know what an icash table is :-)

Just booked the hotel and registered for the main event, can"t wait! Always a good structured tournament, hopefully i can cash this time after making Day 2 twice this season and still missing out on the money!  ;D ;D ;D

Just as long as you"re not sat anywhere near me; you"re a pest  ;)

Seriously though, Good Luck! You deserve a cash.

I"m a wee regular on the stoke poker front CK - if ya fancy a friendly game with a bit of banter get down the grove for the 15 freeze, normally only gets between 15-30 runners (£300 gtd lol), but is a laugh. 7:30 reg for free reg fee and extra chips, 8pm start, normally concludes around 1-2am.
Genting offer the £20+£10 £1.5k gtd, 7.45pm for extra chips. Better comp value-wise but a 4am finish depends what you"re looking for if you need an early night in prep for the APAT games :-P

all the way back to 1996, wp. don"t have to go back that far to hear the scots or welsh and irish to be fair.
by the way god save the queen is the british national anthem not the english anthem. although i accept it is divisional in that it divides the royalists and us anti royals, it does not however divided the home nations.

The difference for me is the passion from the singer leading it. Amy MacDonald sounds like it is the ultimate honour to be there. I am not a Scot but this is probably the best rendition of any anthem I have ever heard.
