Correct. Feedback from players suggested they didn"t want these series to take up too many days, so we"ve put the two short handed NLHE games (HU & 6 Max) on the Thursday night, leaving the Friday free for those that have a social life outside of poker. ;D

All satellites are £5+50p. Main Event ones are 1R1A into £50+£5, Side Event ones are freezeouts into £20+£2

Can you ask Willi Hill when they will be making their software MAC compatible. I have the means to play using windows but it is a massive bug bear doing so.
Not really anything to do with William Hill - it"s an iPoker limitation. Suggest you contact iPoker directly and ask the question.

The problem is that iPoker"s flash product is not very good and it is largely unsupported. For that reason a lot of skins choose not to attach their brand to it.

I believe there is an ISPT day 1 online ticket for POTS (^^^^ look at OP^^^^^)
As for overall season online and live ranking winners I believe it is a GPS seat, this is stated in the Season6 disscusion thread posted by Des before the start of the season, you may have to troll to find it.

Just playing the game. This month i get 3 weekends to myself after a long BH weekend at DTD and the w/e prior stuck in the office editing the APAT podcast.....doing coupley stuff for 1 w/e from 8 isnt bad!!

Go to Tournaments\All, sort by Start, and scroll down to 19:00 today.
OR
Go to Tournaments\All, sort by name, and scroll down to WCOAP (this one is labelled differently to the others)

Those players that had already registered for the PLO H/L have been re-registered for the new tournament which is now in GBP and not EUR.
This is obviously a slight difference on buyin, so please ensure you are happy with this registration, if not, you can just unregister before the tournament starts.

Yes, it is extremely difficult to do. I was trying to do it while waiting for a train last night and it took ages. Then there didn"t seem any way back from the Cashier to the poker-room, so I had to log out and come back in. But I couldn"t get in cos the laptop reckoned WH was already running, so had to switch off entirely and start over, while getting on and off two trains.
Eventually got in and discovered that they had forgotten to make it late reg. It was just like old times; I remember them forgetting this more often than they remembered when I played there before. There is a very nice AV prize of an ISPT seat for POTS and the Stud was a possible way of picking up some points, but I can forget about any chance of winning that now.
I agree WH continues to be the most rubbish site, with customer service to match.
Poker.co.uk is my current favourite site.

I have got the date in my diary, in fact I have the whole week marked off as there are plenty of side events that interest me and I can get there from work in 20 minutes, just have to see how the bankroll is nearer the time, but I will be there either playing or railing. For anyone who"s playing the PLO8 tonight, and is interested, there is a daily PLO8 $10r on iPoker at 19:30. It plays pretty deep and is well structured, and the standard is very soft - well worth playing alongside the APAT game.

I just found it strange that I found and registered this afternoon for the hi/lo but still couldn"t see the 6 max with no filters and the filters were reset twice for good measure to no avail.

Really enjoyed that PLO8 game. First time ever playing it. Pity I fizzled out, got the bubble mixed up with the 6 handed thinking top 5 paid after my lobby decided to stop responding lol

Hate that William Hill site, my connection was cut off at least 4 times last night, this does not happen on other sites and it makes it very annoying and confusing (for an oldie like me) with 2 tables open as well. Was really p"ssd off last night!
It would be helpful if on the final table we can have APAT names. I do know who most are but when I ask people their APAT name they do not reply!

It was not you but I do understand that people do not always see the message when playing other tables. It is just that there are so many new names it would be nice to know who they are and whether new members of APAT .

Well done Carl, that is an amazing sequence. I"m still annoyed that the mess-up in the Stud means I cannot challenge you, but I accept that you were almost certain to win the POTS anyway with those results. Now I expect you to finish it off in style with a win in the Main Event tomorrow, followed by winning the ISPT, SCOOP and WSOP. That"ll do for the next three months.

just gets better. 3rd guy says you have 3 accounts and your card is registered to another account. i say no i only have one account. he says just a minute. yes thats right but your card has expired. i point out that my card has not expired and is valid until 10/13. oh well just log out and try again. ****ing class customer none service.

I"m sure Des or Leigh will be able to clarify, but it is down to sponsorship. APAT need sponsors as they do not receive the rake or reg fees from their events. Running the online series on APAT client would generate rake, but in turn, lose William Hill as a sponsor. However, although I have not experienced any deposit issues, I agree that William Hill is poor poker site, (possibly the worse skin on ipoker) and APAT members deserve better.

Just to put the other side forward.. I"ve only played one of the series.. I"d got back home at 7:59, downloaded the software, installed, logged in, deposited (via PayPal) and was playing by 8:02. No worries. The only problem I had was cold bubbling the medals and money. Purely down to me that though, not the software.
I"m sure if APAT could put all the online games on the APAT site they would. I suspect that the reasons for choosing William Hill would be purely for the benefit and longevity of APAT itself which in turn is for the benefit all its members long term.
In APAT we should trust x

Ipoker is a better network than BOSS but William Hill is pretty poor. I registered with them many years ago via a third party before I started playing poker seriously. There was some thing on my account, due to the refferal code, which I think gave free money, that said I could not buy into tournaments for more than $20 or something which is still there now. So I am not able to buy into any APAT tournament on William Hill.
I tried contacting them and explaining and asking them to close the account which turned out to be a total waste of time (as this would apparently be multi accounting). I was not even going to play on the site I just wanted to be able to use it to buy into live event"s. :-)
Bottom line, whilst APAT events are sponsored by William Hill, I am not playing.
