Ian out 7th -  got huge kudos from the commentary box for his perfect play.  Had hardly any hands, but played those hands well, and never got out of line. gg mate.

Great result - unlucky in running into the rockets ... (66 vs AA at the end).

ISPT - Running okay break 3 - 47th of 152 - 24 qualify ...

Leigh Wiltshire (Chipaccural) sitting in 10th ...

Debjani Duncan is also near the top and Steve Redfern is 20th. Paul Haycock and David Blacklaw are just outside the places. I"ve also seen Andrew Duncan down the field, though not as far down as I am.

Just saw a fun hand. All-in 33 v QT. Board KK9K, so a Q or T is needed for a better Full House. No it isn"t; another K did the job - KK9KK. You"re out 33.

49 left. It"s looking good for APAT - better for some than others. Three in the top ten:

5  Louis
9  Leigh
10 Debjani
31 David
39 Steve
42 Ray
49 John

Aye, I got a little impatient. Tried to win it in the first level lol. Was busto by 4th level (blinds only 20/40!).

Massive congrats to Debjani for making Day 2! :)

Commisserations to APATers who went so far but didn"t quite make it. Leigh's exit in particular being a harsh one.

Made it - but lost the key hand AK vs TT vs 88 (short stack) ...

105BB - would have been more like 300BB had I won that flip.

Some savage exits ... Leigh JJ vs A4 ... flop 567 ... river 8 ...

Will be weird to start with 40% of the average ... but a super playable stack ...

Wembley here we come.

Thanks Matt and everyone else that railed. it was all a bit sqweaky bum at the end but in true Duncan short stack ninja style I"ll give it a go on the day with my 86BB :)
