We"re just waiting for them to come back from the printers and then we"ll get them out in the post.

PMSL great thread!  :)

What does everyone think about maybe adding a small fee to reserve a seat?

Think some kind of poker tour exclusively for amateur players could get some traction. Thoughts?

I"m thinking of starting up an organisation to facilitate the playing of a particular game involving a pack of playing cards and betting tokens.  I"m thinking of setting it up to cover an area in the West Midlands.  Sort of North and West of Birmingham and South and East of Wolverhampton.

Only trouble is, before I go to launch, I really need a snappy name.  Something that people will latch onto.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Awwww you bullies leave poor BRIAN alone, I think yesterday he was to busy counting his cash after his bink on Stars to notice the player list..

* BTW has anyone noticed only ONE team in the season 7 draft does not contain a BCPC player?*

I think the reg fees and competition in certain areas are all great ideas, however you need a place to get these ideas across to people interested in the kind of things.

A forum of some kind

funny piss take thread and all that..... but actually, the list wasn"t particularly easy to find to anyone just dipping into the forum. It"s on the link posted in the reply above, but that"s part way down page 7 of a 9 page thread - it doesn"t exactly jump out to anyone just logging in for a quick peek.  The obvious place to go would be the Player Briefing thread, but that says "Reserved for Player List"

Fair comment Steve.  The seat reservation button will remain live until Saturday at midday, so we"ll post up a final player list (excluding any walk-ins) at that point.

Just out of interest Leigh, do you have any idea how close to sold out we are at the moment. I see the list was updated 2 days ago, and had 107 runners at that point.... I know of a few who have reserved today (cos I sent them to the link). Also, what happens if enough people reserve that we go over the 160 cap?

Do I have any idea ?

DO I HAVE ANY IDEA ?

Not a clue  ;D

I have complete awareness of player numbers from my control centre, here at APAT Towers.

We are currently running at 125, with a small allocation of seats being made available to the venue to sell direct to their local players.

We totally expect to sell out the 160 seats.

Interestingly, we are still getting a lot of players taking the last minute "reserve a seat" option on the homepage to ensure they have a seat before travelling.  This will remain open until Midday tomorrow.

We control the numbers on that, to ensure we don"t oversell the capacity.
