Title: APAT in the media
Post by: Des on July 03, 2013, 22:48:06 PM
We don"t often blow our own trumpet, but when the editors of three of the largest poker media businesses choose to describe APAT in the following way, then I think we can be justifiably proud.

Needless to say, we don"t use "world"s best" on our site or in any of our PR, but this is how APAT is perceived and that"s a credit to the team and members.  Well done everybody.

PokerPlayer Magazine:  "The world"s best amateur poker tour is back for its seventh outing and this season it"s going to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever before. (http://www.pokerplayer.co.uk/news/latest-news/13396/apat_reveals_details_about_new_season.html)"

WPT Magazine:  "The best low stakes poker tour on the planet is back for a seventh season and the APAT line-up looks heavenly. (http://www.wptmag.com/news.php?articleID=1096)"

PokerNews.com:  "The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) has one of the most vibrant and welcoming communities in the entire world of poker. It also has some of the best value, low buy-in tournaments available anywhere in the world today. (http://uk.pokernews.com/news/2013/06/apat-release-details-of-their-seventh-season-11009.htm)"

Very impressive! Reading that kind of stuff makes me very proud to be a small part of the team :D

Nice one Des & Leigh, who I believe are the main 2 reasons APAT is perceived in this way; and a big "Thank you" to everyone who continues to support APAT by playing in our events.

Here"s to a great Season 7! :)

Feel proud to be a tiny part of such a fantastic community..

APAT have only been getting these plaudits since you have come onboard Matt.  Can"t be a coincidence  ;)

Needless to say, we don"t use "world"s best" on our site or in any of our PR, but this is how APAT is perceived and that"s a credit to the team and members.

The cinema and theatre industry routinely use "Quotes" from reviews in their advertising etc. No reason why you couldn"t at least have these quotes on your new landing page to encourage people to sign up.

Thoroughly deserved praise btw.
