A bit surprised to be playing the Mini-League tonight and the moaning about the site was a bit annoying from the LPPL guys.
Several complaining about the lack of tournaments on the site and the Bounty competitions are too low. This is from people who are playing a $4 entry tourney. One or two have said they can"t log onto the APAT Forum also...

Agree, as they were all LPPL I found it not very friendly toward us APPATers.

One of them said something about "the only ones who have gained from this are the APAT players", when I asked how there wasn"t any answers...
Maybe if we get first and second on Saturday for the IPO in Dublin then we have gained....
It was a bit annoying actually, especially when only three played the 10am Tourney on Saturday... How are we gaining if LPPL players are refusing, or declining to play...
Just seemed very odd that a the few who were playing on Saturday spent a lot of time on chat complaining...

"the only ones who have gained from this are the APAT players"

We have gained because we now get to play them, they are losing because they have to play us now  ;)

Any specific players guys making the comments/complaints?

Id not worry too much about them - there will always be a minority of players who like to chunter about pretty much anything - you can rest assured that if it wasnt this, it would be that.

As has been expressed in the past, there has been a great attitude to the merger and for the most part, LPPL players are as friendly and personable as APAT players are - games that ive seen and played in have been played in a great spirit and theres no reason why this shouldnt continue.

As for the nay sayers....we all have em...just ignore em...they"ll find something else to whine about soon.. ;)

Off hand I can"t remember who it was but when the results are listed it will show who played. I don"t really want to make an issue about it but just thought I would mention it.
As for people complaining about Poker sites I played on four last night and on each one people were complaining about how rubbish the site was, even one saying how rigged Stars was...
Quite strangely nobody who won the chips made any complaints...

Could really do with a few more players taking a stab at this. The August league has been a bit poor so far and unless it picks up a bit its unlikely to generate even 1 seat. By my calculations (which is probably wrong) there is 204 euros in the kitty half way?

Mission accomplished for me so I have been playing other Tourneys but will try to play some more of these to boost the pot and to ensure that I play at least eight games, never know, might win another one...  ;D

I believe the league table is up to date - apart from last nights games - im not sure why Matt has not been keeping you updated as regularly as before....

Apologies for lack of updates on this thread. Have been so busy with so much other APAT/LPPL admin, that I"ve let this slip a bit. Will try to keep it more up-to-date in future (I have been keeping the leaderboards up-to-date daily, just not posted the running cash totals here - though they have been pretty poor tbh).

Including tonight, there are still 13 games left in the August league. So still a chance to make the minimum 8 required to qualify for the Final or Playoff.

I"m going to be playing as many as I can in order to up the prizepool a bit! :)

I know I have already done my bragging post but I feel a bit lousy that I haven"t played more this time. My shifts are just not user friendly this month and I have played some other things. DTD and family things this weekend so I will play the last few days of the month... Also I need to get a few more in to have played 8 games for the play-off.

Hey Bill, no worries at all.

We"re going to be running the league again from September onwards, and pushing it a lot more, so hopefully you can take part then :)

No game last night due to lack of runners, so results unchanged from yesterday.

Was I the only player registered on Friday night...? Playing Saturday morning and will just have to register and blind out on Saturday night for my 8 games...  ;)

I have only played 6 games until today... I"m sure I registered for Friday 30th and may well of been the only one.. I am playing the Saturday morning game and will register for the Saturday night.. If the 9.30 doesn"t go ahead for any reason where will I stand with the 8 game rule.. At least one has been called off which would of given me the minimum 8 games..?

As this league has been so poorly attended, I will allow games that were cancelled to count. The system records who was registered at the time of cancellation, so as long as you were/are I will count those too.
