APAT are currently developing a similar, but much more advanced fantasy game, which will run througout next season and include several sports; so we cannot allocate seats to participants of this version, despite our excellent relationship with PokerPlayer.

I was hoping that it might mean I"d get 110 points of a head start seeing as I came in under budget. No ... ? Worth a try ;)
It"s not about picking value players Leigh ... ! Remember that when you"re picking your donks.

Micky I reckon will be 9pts - if sober maybe 10 points.
Eck, I reckon is worth 100pts.
Add them to my team - OK so it"s a 12 man team now but I"m still within budget.

No you can't have a 12 man team... just because you maths skill let you down and you couldn't figure out a way to spend the 2,000 points, doesn"t mean you get any special muppet dispensation..
Typical . you put a fiver on this then panic when you realise you're behind pre-flop ::)
Anyway I'm sure you'll find a way to donk of the remaining points. ;)
-

No worse than Paddy Power quoting a price for Johnny Moss, for the 2006 Main Event... he"d been dead about 6 years!

QFT, Hellmuth is, if not a fish in the mixed games and PLO, not as good value as some others, I think you really want players who play all the games well. The only two hold"em events are the main event and the HU. Here at Poker Player we"ve picked a team that I can reveal here:
Phil Ivey
Allen Cunningham
Erik Seidel
Jen Harman
Devilfish
Scotty Ngueyn
David Williams
Kenny Tran
Eli Elezera (steal of the entire comp IMO)
Marcel Luske
and i"ve entered my own team:
Ivey
Cunningham
Seidel
Harman
Ferguson
Scotty Ngueyn
Kenny Tran
Eli Elezera
Greg Raymer
David Singer

i think everyone has cunningham (value at double the price) and kenny tran (whats the script there?)
Will PP be doing regular Fantasy league updates?
-
Im regrettin not picking tom dwan, isaac menlo and phil galfond but will they play more cash games than they will tournys during the series?
-

Doesn"t turn 21 until 10th July so can"t play any of the WSOP. Dwan is a good shout, but should a 500/1000 game kick off in Bobby"s room maybe he"ll concentrate on that. I actually think two of the so called internet players to keep tabs on will be Justin Bonomo (sponsored now and cashed in the $50k H.O.R.S.E last year and plays high limit mixed games and is crucially now more of a live player) and Brett "Gank" Jungblut if he plays the WSOP. This guy is one of the few true all rounders who learnt on the internet, he was part of "The Crew" along with Fischmann and already has one bracelet in O8 to his name and cashes in at least five other discliplines at the WSOP.

Hey Rob,
Yeah we"ll be updating after every event that counts to the tally. Not to spam, but i"ll be helping run a $20 one over on a website that"s well known for their live updates, this fantasy one will covers all the events.
-
Forgot Menlo was only 20 even though i think it was mentioned in an interview recently he turns 21 just before the main event i think, was gank in the crew with scott fischman and dutch boyd?
-

Yeah Gank, Fischmann and Boyd all part of the crew. According to his wikipedia page Menlo doesn"t turn 21 until after the main event starts.

http://www.pokerplayermagazine.co.uk/pokerlife/pokerfeatures/5733/fantasy-wsop-league.html
22nd (or 21st?) @ Scottish Apat event and 22nd on the poker player fantasy league.... I think i"ve found a new roullette number to add to the list :D
-
BillyHo not far behind you in 35th

think im 48th or somat :S i think of justin bonomo wins the ME i have a chance lol hes prob out already :(
-
Sucking big time, from what I can gather I"ve a little over 250 points after 10 events :-[
Could all change like that though!
-
I"m in 5th place at the moment, but need my boys to come through in the main event. Cunningham has had a poorish WSOP (by his standards) so far. Let"s hope history repeats itself and he finals.
One time etc
-
Donkbox surely if u wanna win its better one of ur other guys has a better main event. if cunningham does well ull score points but at least one guy above u will have him too if not more?
