Hehe with some of the names on this list would be pretty funny if you had to pronounce them on a live feed ;D
Gl to all the APAT regs run well
-
Jesper Gaardhoe is amongst the chip leaders with over 30k.....he improves that by raising from the hijack to 700 after Stephen Foss had limped - the blinds fold and Stephen calls.
Flop comes J65 - Stephen checks, Jesper bets 725 - Stephen calls
Turn brings a 7 - Stephen again taps the table - Jesper this time fires 1375 into the middle....which is clearly too much for Stephen who folds and Jesper continues to dominate proceedings on Table 7
-
Hehe with some of the names on this list would be pretty funny if you had to pronounce them on a live feed ;D
Gl to all the APAT regs run well
Youre not wrong Carl - saying some of them is bad - typing them out just as bad - i almost broke a few fingers doing that particular task!!!!
-
Andrew Macleod down - his pocket ducks not enough to hold off AJ.
-
Ahmet Nice busts out a player on table 10 and takes his stack to well over 30k
-
Table 9 action.....Michael Ingram and Martin Arch get involved on a JT7 flop.....Martin checks, Micheal bets for 1200....there had been some pre flop action that got just under 2k in the middle - Martin thinks and calls....turn brings a King...Martin this time fires a 5k chip into the middle.....Micheal chunters and folds, showing the Jack....very nice pot takedown for Martin
-
Dann Williams clinging on with just under 10k
-
Mark Wincell moves up to nearly 30k.....does help when you get into a pot holding A6 and the flop comes A66!
-
Table 2 and Andrew Monk doubles up thru Ricki Valencia....KK seeing off AQ
-
JP Round on just over 12k - he may have lost a recent pot to Tim Moorcroft, but he"s not out of the APAT Event #1, at least not yet. He just got all of Grant Gardner"s chips, after a classic race.
Gardner shoved in mid-position for 5,700 chips at blinds of 150/300/50. Round shoved in the next seat and it was folded round.
Gardner : 5d-5s
Round: Ah-Kh
The board ran out Qc-4d-3s-3h-As to give Round exactly what his nickname is on the APAT forum!
"I never hit it there, either!" Said J-P, delighted that he"s now back in the tournament
-
Polar opposites......
Warren Jones, who i dont think ive ever seen lose a hand, let alone a tournament i have officiated it is struggling on just over 5k.......he is entered into the Stud event which starts in about 30 mins so may have 1 eye on that and valuable Player of the Year points as his nearest challenger, Chris Webber, is also in it....
Meanwhile, over on T3, Ian Dewer lays claim to be current tournament chippy, sitting very pretty on nearly 70k!
-
92/165 left as we move into the level of 300/600/100
-
Is Michelle Bashir still in please?
-
Ian Young gets his chips in.....called in 2 places by Mateus Malik and William Delaney who both have him covered
Flop comes Q87....Mateus fires 1200 into a dry side pot to which William shoves for just over 12k. Mateus isnt happy but folds fairly swiftly.....Ian now looking concerned as he tables his AA for the main pot......and his concern is well founded, an anguished cry as William tables QQ.
Turn and River blank and we lose Ian.
-
Few other players with sizeable stacks :
Sabri Bertug 55k
Van Phan 65k
Still shy of Ian Dewer"s 70k stack
-
Is Michelle Bashir still in please?
Afraid not....she slipped away with telling me she"d gone.
Dwayne Stacey also gone.
Will get an updated eliminated player list at next break - just over 20 mins time
83 players remaining
-
Now on a 30 minute break - will look to provide updated eliminated player list, chip counts etc during the break
-
Is Michelle Bashir still in please?
Afraid not....she slipped away with telling me she"d gone
Think you have me confused with someone else.
I"m still in, 17.2k at break.
I will come and introduce myself :)

As usual, i somehow manage to upset Michelle.....if its not the spelling of the surname, its whether or not shes still in the event or not!!!!
-
Some of the bigger stacks in play - no real huge stacks - Ian Dewer losing a healthy chunk shortly before the break :
Chris Love - 49.5k
David Gould - 58k
Van Than - 54k
Sabri Bertug - 61k

Ahmet Nice raises to 3400 pre flop from mid position - UTG, who had limped - calls
flop 396 - UTG checks, Ahmet fires 8200 - UTG folds
-
After an initial raise, James Heath repops to 7k....then Sean Hicks in the SB shoves for his remaining 20k stack.
Initial raiser folds...James makes the call and shows KJ.
Sean tables the bullets, much to James" chagrin.
Board runs out a very uneventful 23793 and Sean doubles through James, who has him covered - but not by much!
-
Chip leader Van Thang Nguyen was already crushing the event with a 100k stack - he then got involved in a pot with another big stack (Henk Rieuwert) with the chips going on the turn - Van tabling AQ and his opponent KK.....board showing JTQT....river.......another Q.
That was for not far short of 200k.........Van now a huge chip leader with nigh on 300k
-
Down to 36 now - Michelle *Insert Surname Here*, Rich Baker, Lee Wyatt all still going
