118 players at the off, with a long queue at the cash desk.

Rieuwert Fleer, champion of Event #10 Razz and 4th placed finisher in yesterday"s Omaha hi/lo, is today"s first casualty.
Joe-Carr Hill, Denise Frost, and "Henk" Fleer get it all-in preflop with AA (Joe) vs KK (Denise) vs QQ (Henk).
The hand plays out thus: Blinds 50/100, Denise raises to 300. Another player calls. Henk makes it 850 to go. Joe pops it to 2.1k.
Denise shoves all-in for 20k, the intial caller folds, and both Henk and Joe call.
The board runs out As 5h 7s 4d 4h
Joe just about triples, and we lose Henk. Denise is down to a bowl of rice.
The intial caller to Denise"s bet apparently also had Queens.
-
Joe-Carr Hill says this has only happened to him once before. That time he went on to win the £200 150-runner "Halloween Thriller" event at the Rendevous in November 2012 :) http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=133050
Will lightning strike twice?...
-
Jon Seal, 2nd placed in yesterday"s Omaha Hi/Lo tourney, is off to a fine start, raking in a 3k pot as I walk past, with 6h 6c on a Kc 5h 8h 6s 4c board.
-
AA-KK-QQ-QQ - who"s dealing Dynamo ???
-
I join the action as a short-stacked Kristine Simbianthianfyi shoves all-in for 4k into a 10k pot on a 3h 4d 10c 5h board.
Her opponent Sung Hee Yun makes the call and shows Th 7h. Kristine tables 4h 5d.
The river arrives the 6c, and Sung scoops the pot with a straight, knocking Kristine out in the process.

Two recent hands related from Mr John Murray.
John raises with Jc 7c. Both blinds call. Flop Qd 8c 4d. Check Check. John bets 600 and both call. Turn 9c - the perfect card for John. Check, check, John bets 1200. Both call again.
River 10s to complete the straight. Check, check again. John Hollywoods, then makes it 3k. Small blind goes all-in for 7.5k. Big blind folds, and John insta-calls. His opponent mucks. John scoops and hits the 27k chip mark.
Shortly after, John flops an 8 T J board with 7 9 in his hand, leading out 3 streets including the Queen turn and Heart river, but getting called down by AK for the straight. Denting his stack by 6k.
-
Kevin O"Hanlon out of the main.
The damage occured in a few key hands.
Kd Jd on a beautiful flop Flop 10d Qd Qh - giving an open ender straight flush hand, but losing a total of 7k by calling turn and river bets when it didn"t improve. Karen Mead"s Quad Queens plenty enough to take the pot there!
He then unluckily ran Kings into Aces, and the last 13k were lost in a bluff gone wrong against Paul McGuinness.
-
145 runners today in total. 127 of those are left.
-
Dave Howard with 41k, Karen Mead with 48k and Paul McGuiness with 37k are all on the same table.
Blinds 150/300 with an ante of 50. Karen Mead utg makes it 1k to go. Paul McGuiness makes the call, as does small and bib blinds.
The board is dealt 4h 6h 2h
The blinds both check, and Karen confidently leads out for 2.6k. Paul calls again. Both the blinds fold.
Turn: Kh
Karen checks. Paul bets 6k. Karen thinks for a while and folds 3h 3s face up. Paul takes the pot.

tournament is flowing along smoothly as we break down to 9 tables - recently eliminated players include GiMac, who after crushing the Team Event MTT of 40 players on Friday night, couldnt maintain that rich vein of form as he busts out the PLO8 and the second flight of the Main Event both in midfield

Jonathan Rees had been causing chaos earlier in the week at the tables when his beer intake affected his table/trash talking....today his chips and play is causing all the chaos as he wins a selection of pots and suddenly has towers of chips in front of him rather than stacks.....
-
Mark "Batboy" Porter has enjoyed little luck all week and sadly for the well liked and respected member, today only served to extend that non wanted streak.
Mark had started the tournament well, getting to 30k in the early stages, but thats as good as it got for Mark, as first his AQ got done over by AJ, then a shove with AJ was called by A6.....happy days....until the flop brings not just one, but 2 sixes to clip Batboys wings and send him crashing to the rail....
