I"m looking to try a different type of poker as i"m on a down swing in hold"em at the moment and i have seen Razz..
Its looks to be a nice change from hold"em and most people seem to hate it so it could be the one for me but i do have a couple of questions about it though.
The object from what i have read is to get the lowest hand possible...

a good hand to?
To me it just does not compute.
What about pairs and trips?

Where ever you saw it were probably just trying to illustrate that neither flushes or straights count against you.
So take the normal hand ranking, take out the straight, flush and straight flush, and the razz ranking is that in reverse.
