-
Gladys Jarvis, starting Day 2 as the lowest chip stack with 18,200, gets it all in pre-flop with Ac Qh and is called by Gary Langley holding A s 10h.
Flop 7h 10d 9d looks bad for Gladys to double up and the 10c Turn kills it before Js River and sends her to the rail as our first departure on Day 2.
-
tech no?
football, tennis, grand prix, snooker and hopefully some poker streaming with the dulcet tones of Leigh Wiltshire?
-
That sounds like the perfect day Mark. Leigh will be going live in the next ten mins.
-
Not long after Gladys departs we have last Thursday"s Online Satellite Winner Jon Camsell, who used his seat this weekend, get it all in for 23,500 and is called by Gary Copeland.
Jon A s 5h and Gary Ah Qh
Board 7h 6c 7s 8s Qs and Jon leaves us in 26th position, 10 spots off a min cash.
-
That sounds like the perfect day Mark. Leigh will be going live in the next ten mins.
woohoo
-
Chris Thorpe gets his 20k stack in pre holding A s 10c and is up against Ah 8s and holds for a nice double up.
Andrew Dodson does the same holding A s 10d and holds against Jd Kd to double up to around 70k.
Graham Foster pushes with Qs 6s and is called by Ian Dawson holding Qd Js
and on a Board Qc 7h 9c 10s 2h Graham departs in 25th.

The stream is live now.

-
An unlucky Dave Stones holding 7h 3c on a Flop 3d 7s 2d has Ryan Kilbey pushing on him holding 7c 5s only to see a Turn 10h and a River 10d to see him lose the hand with Ryan"s 5s playing.
-
Stephen Fung gets his 38,700 stack in holding Qc Qh against Kevin Simpson who called holding A s Qs and with Qd on the Flop Stephen survives his all in.
-
An "all in" and a call sees the Ac Kh of David Stones do battle with the 10h 10s held by Scot Turner...
Flop comes 5d Ah 2h and David takes the lead leaving Scot needing to improve.
The turn is 9c reducing Scot"s outs to just the two remaining tens or David gets the double up.
The river is Kc and David makes an irrelevant second pair and takes the pot which more than doubles his stack to around 95k.
Still 24 players left, blinds at 1500/3000 with a running ante of 400.
-
Another all in and call, this time it is a push from Malcolm Hedley and a call from John Nixon.
John has Ad 10s
Malcolm has Ah Qh
The flop brings something for everyone - Kc 10h 5h
The turn is Js and Malcolm makes the straight.
The river is 3h and Malcolm gets the double up.
-
And again!
Steven Fung pushes with A s 6s and is called by Kevin Simpson with Ad 10s
Another interesting flop of Kc 5s 6s
Steven calling for a spade but the turn is the 10d
Still shouting for it...
the river is 4h and we lose Steven Fung from the tournament.
-
David Amos holding Kc Ks calls Normal Hall"s all in for circa 50k with Norman showing 6c 6s.
The inevitable Flop 6d 7c Ah looks bad for David until the Turn Kh and River 8d sends Normal to the rail.
-
Must be the time of day, another all in and call.
We see Scot Turner pushing his fairly short stack with Kh 5c
He is called by Craig Hindson holding Qc 10s
The board runs out Qd Jh 9c 4d 7s and we lose Scot Turner.
-
Andy Hall gets a nice double up when his Kd Ks holds against Jd 10d... Andy now on circa 100k
-

9th - £270
10th-13th - £200
14th-16th - £145
We are down to 21 players here at Aspers Newcastle and there has been a fair amount of action.
-
An all in for around 50k from Nicholas Madsen gets called by Mark Robinson.
Madsen has 3s 3c and Robinson has A s Qh
Board runs out with 10s 7h 8c 10c 3h
Nicholas Madsen gets the double up and Mark takes a fair amount of damage.
Madsen now on around 105k and Mark around 100k
-
Around 20 minutes left at this level with blinds at 2000/4000 with a running ante of 500.
There will be a fifteen minute break at the end of this level and we will get the latest chip counts at that point - lots of chips swapping places around the tables.
-
Two tables with all ins and calls at the same time!
On our feature table, we see Gareth Stanford-Iddon push with 8d 8c and get called by Alan Kirton holding A s 6s
The board comes out 9d Js 8h 7h Kd and Gareth gets the double up.
On table 2 we see Ryan Kilbey push with 8d 8s and he gets a call from Mark Robinson with Ad Ks
Board is Jh 5h 6c 2d 10c and Ryan gets the double up!
Pocket 8"s holding up nicely.
-
Gareth"s double up has been cut down, he and Ian Hayton get it all in pre, Gareth has 10c 10s and with Ac Kc
Flop is 9h 3s Js
The turn does the damage and is Ad
And the 9s river does nothing to help him.
Gareth is still in but with a severely lessened stack and Ian gets a double up.
-
Coming back from the first break with Blinds 3000/6000 (600) 21 players remain with average stack 105k:
0103 Ian Hayton 94000
0104 Malcolm Hedley 66000
0105 Gareth Stanford-Iddon 19000
0106 Gary Copeland 106000
0107 Alan Kirton 219000
0108 Kevin Simpson 224000
0109 John Nixon 46000
0201 Mark Robinson 46000
0202 Craig Hindson 148000
0204 Nicholas Madsen 108000
0205 Ryan Kilbey 105000
0206 David Stones 71000
0207 Gary Langley 51000
0209 Christopher Thorp 42000
0302 Ian Dawson 50000
0303 Andrew Dodson 43000
0304 Andrew Hayton 10000
0305 Andrew Simm 235000
0307 Anthony Ashman 133000
0308 Andrew Hall 80000
0309 David Amos 207000
-
First hand back from the break and Gareth Stanford-Iddon, crippled immediately before the break, gets it all in with Jc 10h and is called by Kevin Simpson holding Qc Qs.
Flop Kc 9d 5s gives Gareth hope but Turn 4c and River 2h sees him depart in 21st place.
-
Johnny Nixon departs in 20th place getting it all in with Ad Kd against Jc Jh only to see Jd on Flop and him not improving.
-
Ian Dawson re-raises all in pre-flop and the original raiser, David Amos, calls.
Ian shows 3c 3h
Dave has A s Qc
The flop is 9c 2s Qc
The turn is 8d
The pain arrives on the river with the Ac falling on the river and sending Ian Dawson to the rail in 19th place.
We are down to 18 players and two tables.
-
Gl David keep up the good work FT beckoning!!
-
We see KK again on the same table today, for the 3rd time, when Andrew Hayton is the lucky recipient of
Kh Kc and getting it all in against Craig Hindson holding Ac Qd.
However first card out is Ah followed by 6h 4c 4d and 8c and KK gets cracked and Andrew departs in 18th place.
-
Is there meant to be sound on the live stream?
Im not getting any
-
Lots of action of Table 3 when Mark Robinson ships for 47k, Andrew Simm (big stack) makes the call only for Nicholas Madsen to ship for an extra 65k.
After much deliberation, Andrew declares he is "well behind and looking for a miracle" and makes the call and tables 4d 4h.
Original raiser Mark shows Ks Qs and Nicholas tables Jc Jh.
A safe flop for Nicholas of 3c 2s 10d and a great 7h for him, only to be disappointed with a River Qd which triples up Mark... with Nicholas taking the consolation "side pot".
-
Andrew Simm is again involved when he has his stack all in with Ad Kd against the 10c 10h of Nicholas Madsen, and with 10d coming on Flop Andrew is reduced to circa 15k
-
On the bubble action is fast and furious.
On the feature table Dave Stones gets reduced to circa 5k (blinds 4k/8k) when his Ad Kc gets beat by Kd Jd on a Board Jh 7d 2d 2s 8c.
Next hand Dave ships "early" in the SB (with dead BB) for circa 5k blind and is called by the Button. Dave shows 7c 3s and Gary Langley 9h 8d and Dave survives on a Board Kh 7c 5s 3d Ad.
On Table 3 Andrew Simm and Nicholas Madsen go head to head again, this time Andrew shipping his small stack with Ad Ks, called by Nicholas with 7s 2s... Board 8d 10c 3h 5d 5s and Andrew again survives elimination.
Andrew (left) and Nicholas (right)
-
Dave Stones on the feature table again in the action with his small stack of 32k, getting it in with 10h 10c and getting called by the Ah Qc of Kevin Simpson and Dave staying ahead to increase his "comeback stack" to circa 75k.
Table 3 sees Andrew and Nicholas in heads up action again, Andrew delighted with his As Kh against Nicholas" Ah Jh.
Flop comes 7h 8h 9c and Andrew stands up expecting the inevitable "heart" to give Nicholas the flush. Turn 9s and a River 8s gives us a chopped pot with each players" Ace playing.
On the feature table we finally lose the Bubble when Gary Copeland gets his stack in with Ah 10s only to be called by Kevin Simpson holding A s Kh and Gary doesn"t improve and departs in 17th position.
-
Im not getting any

-
Thank-you for not answering my question :)
-
On losing the bubble Andrew and Nicholas are at it again.... Andrew behind with Ah 4d and all in against Nicholas" Qc Qs...
Ac on Flop keeps Andrew alive and he increases his 32800 stack to circa 75k.
On the feature table Ian Hayton gets his stack in with Ks Jd and is called by Christopher Thorp who has him covered, and holding 10s 10d. Board A s 3s Qd 9h 5s and Ian departs in 16th place winning £145.
We are on a 15 min break in 3 mins time...
-
Just prior to the break after Level 17 Andrew Simm is again in the action getting it all in with As Ks against Andy Hall"s Jh Jc which hold and Andy reduces Andrew to circa 31k.
-
Chip stacks on the break:
0101 David Stones 63000
0102 Ryan Kilbey 158000
0104 Malcolm Hedley 77000
0105 Christopher Thorp 193000
0107 Alan Kirton 183000
0108 Kevin Simpson 350000
0109 Gary Langley 57000
0301 Craig Hindson 245000
0302 Mark Robinson 160000
0303 Andrew Dodson 72000
0305 Andrew Simm 31000
0306 Nicholas Madsen 216000
0307 Anthony Ashman 132000
0308 Andy Hall 81000
0309 David Amos 245000
-
Andrew Simm again pushes this time with Qs 3s and is called by Andrew Dodson holding Kc 7s
Board Jd 9c 6c Ad 10c
Andrew Simm departs in 15th winning £145.
-
In the last few minutes we have had a bust and a double up in quick succession.
Firstly we saw Gary Langley push a very short stack with Ks Qc and he was called by Alan Kirton with Jd 9d
Board is 9c 9h Ac 3d 7h and Gary leaves us in 14th place for £145.
Not many hands after, Kevin Simpson raised from the button to 25k. David Stones, who not very long ago was in a forced all in position with only enough to make up his small blind and ante, ships over the top from the big blind for around 62k.
Kevin thinks for a while and calls.
Kevin shows Ks 4s and David has 3s 3d
The board is in David"s favour - Qc A s 8d 8h 2s and David doubles up to around 110k.
-
It is like we jinxed him!
David Stones has just run his pocket 8"s into the pocket 9"s of Ryan Kilbey
No help on the board and we see Ryan double up to around 225k and David once again crippled to around 18k.
-
There is no stopping this guy!
David has had two double ups since the catastrophic 8"s.
His pocket 7"s holding against Kev Simpson"s 6h 7h
Then not a hand or two later David"s 6h 4c manages to spike a 4s and defeats Ryan Kilbey"s A s 5d
He is now on around 100k...roller coaster ride indeed.
-
Craig Hindson all in with 10d 10s against Nicholas Madsen holding Ac 9c
Board 5c Js Ah 4c 7d and we lose Craig in 13th winning £200.
-
Nice double up for Andy Hall.
All in pre flop, his little pair of 2"s held up against Antony Ashman"s A s Qs
-
Quite a hand on the feature table.
Ryan Kilbey raised pre flop to 32k.
Immediately to his left is Malcolm Hedley who pushes all in.
Round the table and we hit Alan Kirton who also reckons he has the best hand and ships for slightly less.
Kev Simpson says he will take on the challenge and calls them both.
Ryan gets out of the way and we have a 3 way all in, Malcolm and Alan at risk.
Malcolm has 9d 9c
Alan has Ad Ah
Kev has Jh Js
The flop comes down: 2h 9h 2d and Malcolm takes a huge lead.
Turn and river of Qh 7c make no difference and we lose Alan Kirton in 12th place for £200.
Malcolm gets a huge almost triple up and Kev is left dented but still very much in it.
-
Kev Simpson, trying to claw some chips back, pushes pre with 2s Jd and runs into Malcolm Hedley with A s Ad.
The Jc 8c 4d flop gave Kev some hope but the 6h 8h turn and river mean he does not improve and Kev finishes in 11th place for £200.
Ten players remaining means we are on our final table bubble. When we reach final table, there will be a re draw for seats.
-
Another big hand on our feature table.
David Stones, Ryan Kilbey and Christopher Thorp all get it in pre flop.
David has Aces.
Ryan has Queens.
Chris has Ace 10.
The flop comes down...
6c... Qc... 3s
Turn and river don"t make any difference, 4c 7s, and we lose David Stones and Christopher Thorp.
They both exited in the same hand but David had slightly more chips at the start of the hand and so Chris is our 10th place finisher for £200 and David finishes in 9th place and receives £270.
Dave Stones:
Chris Thorp:
-
And with that, we have our final table. Players are on their 45 minute dinner break.
The seat draw has been done and the chips counted and our final table will look like this:
Seat 1 - Nicholas Madsen - 299k
Seat 2 - Mark Robinson - 284k
Seat 3 - Malcolm Hedley - 554k
Seat 4 - Andrew Dodson - 205k
Seat 5 - David Amos - 239k
Seat 6 - Andrew Hall - 81k
Seat 7 - Anthony Ashman - 152k
Seat 8 - Ryan Kilbey - 429k
We will be streaming the final table with commentary from myself, Tom and Leigh and that will start around 18:30.
-
Rooting for Nick Madsen, I sat next to him for a large part of yesterday, mainly reminding him to post his Antes! Good guy, TID Nick.
-
Second hand on Final Table, David Amos in the BB finds QQ only to see Ryan Kilbey raise to 132k... David shoves and Ryan makes the call holding AQ... the inevitable A comes and we lose David as the first casualty of the Final Table in 8th position and taking home £350.

Andy Hall gets action in the BB when he calls the SB push from Andy Dodson.
Andy Hall A s 5h and Andy Dodson 7h 9c.
Board 3d 4d 5s Jd Jh and Andy Hall"s A5 holds to double him up to circa 125k.
-
Seat 1 - Nicholas Madsen
Seat 2 - Mark Robinson
Seat 3 - Malcolm Hedley
Seat 4 - Andrew Dodson
Seat 6 - Andrew Hall
Seat 7 - Anthony Ashman
Seat 8 - Ryan Kilbey
1st - £3,050 + UK Amateur Poker Champion + Gold Medal + "World Championship of Amateur Poker" Main Event Seat.

6th - £585
7th - £440
8th - £350
9th - £270
10th-13th - £200
14th-16th - £145
Andy Hall UTG makes it 46k and takes it uncontested.
Anthony UTG raises and takes it down.
And after some quiet time we have a 3-way all in action with a huge chip movement:
Andy Dodson Ks 10s v Anthony Ashman Ac Kc v Ryan Kilbey Qh Qc
Kh 10h 3h 4s 7s
Andy on circa 330k
Anthony circa 180k
Ryan circa 400k
-
Andy Dodson raises to 45k and Andy Hall immediately pushes all in... folds to Mark in the SB... and he folds...
action back with the original raiser Andy Dodson.... dealer is counting... and Andy makes the call
Andy Hall A s Ah
Andy Dodson 9h 9c
10h 2d Qh 7s 8s
Andy Hall increases to circa 280k
-
Where has Dave Amos gone??
-
Ryan UTG+1 raises to 120k... Andy Hall pushes all in Ac Qh for 298k... Ryan has 10d 10h and makes the call
10s Js Qs 2h Kc
Ryan hits trip 10 on Flop only for Andy to hit a straight on the River and he moves to circa 630k
-
Nick Madsen ships his 64k and is called by the Button, Andy Dodson holding 3s 3d - Nick has Ah 8c stating he is happy with his 2 overcards, however the Board doesn"t help him and he departs in 7th with £440.
-
Andy Dodson with KK is all in again the K 10 of Anthony and with no help on the Board we lose Anthony in 6th for £585
-
Andy Dodson on the button announces All In and is immediately called by Andy Hall - Andy Hall shows A s 8h only for Andy Dodson to turn over Ad Kd...
Board Kh 6h 5d 10d Qd and we lose Andy Hall in 5th for a £750 payday.
-
Where has Dave Amos gone??
Second hand on FT, Ryan raised utg to 132k, I had QQ in big blind and shoved, he called with AQ...
(Edit: David with chips...)
-
Where has Dave Amos gone??
e
Second hand on FT, Ryan raised utg to 132k, I had QQ in big blind and shoved, he called with AQ...
Ah! UL GG WP.
Very well done, cracking run mate.
-
A huge chip movement from Ryan Kilbey to Mac Hedley when on a Flop of 10s Kh 6h Mac in the SB pushes on a flush draw holding Qh 9h to be called by Ryan holding A s Ac... Turn 5h seals it for Mac and after a count he had 582k.... but Ryan survives.
Next hand Ryan ships for 280k with Ah 3h and is called by Andy with Ad 9h... Flop 5d Jh 4h gives much hope but with Turn 8d and River Jc we lose Ryan in 4th position, on the National Championship Medal Bubble, but earning a payday of £1050.
-
Now in the National Championship Medal positions chip stacks are:
Seat 2 - Mark Robinson 490k
Seat 3 - Mac Hedley 1.2m

-
Heads Up:

-
Many thanks to our commentators today, Leigh Wiltshire (too shy for a pic) and the dynamic duo of father and daughter David "Pokerpops" Amos and Lucy "Alcopops" Amos...

-
Heads Up:
Seat 3 - Mac Hedley
Seat 4 - Andy Dodson
Similar chip stacks:
Mac raises to 60k pre and Andy calls... Kd 7d Ah and Andy bets 30k and takes the pot
Next hand on a Board Qc 3c 8h Andy checks, Mac makes it 60k and Andy calls...
Turn 7c and Andy checks and Mac announces All In and immediatley Andy says "call"...
Mac tables Qc 3c for Top Pair only to see Andy"s 7s 8s for two pair and a River 4d doesn"t help Mac...
After a count Andy has 1m 32k and Mac has 1m 31k.... 1k behind...
Surprisingly! next hand Mac is all in for 1k.... and has a nice hand with Kd Qh.... Andy holds 2d 10h
