You most certainly will Brendan!

Days Inn (Saturday night).
I figure whatever happens Saturday I won"t be fit to drive home. I"ll either be completely cream-crackered from 11 or so hours of poker or, as seems more likely, plastered from drowning my sorrows at yet another dinner-time exit.
If I make it to Monday, Luton is only about an hour"s drive for me, so no problem in getting back.
-
I am travelling down on Saturday and back again to Wakefield, its about 2.15 / 2.30 drive. I figured that if I am out early (odds on) then I can go home, or if I do get through to play on Monday (100 / 1) yes it will be late getting back but I will be that giddy it will not feel like it

Nosey_p you swine.
I had resigned myself to not playing but i saw your post and thought sod it.
Arranged to work down in Reading the week before and stop over Friday night (on expenses haha)
Then nip to Luton on the Saturday. Like you, if i happen to make it though to Monday i shall just drive there and back from Cheshire. Heres hoping i make the money to pay for the petrol!!

Days Inn was £65 direct but I think you can knock a fiver off if you look around
Thistle was c£55 when I looked but was a little further away.

I too am travelling down from Wakefield on the Saturday morning, if I do well driving back won"t seem too painful.

I don"t think the hotel will allow a £500 bar bill Mickey
-
Will be staying in my own bed, and travelling over each day.

Caz and I are in the Days Inn - arriving Friday afternoon and departing Tuesday.
So is what I"ve heard correct, that Des is picking up all bar tabs at the Days Inn ?

Where is the closest Travelodge to Luton because when I looked there wasn"t one in Luton itself?
-
I"m arriving at the Days on the Saturday afternoon. I"m not playing til Sunday but my pre tournament ritual is always to go to the casino the night before I play and stagger out at about 4 am so I"m going to be the annoying railer on day one! Looking forward to this one - my brother is playing his first apat as is Morf who posts on here and I"m looking forward to seeing you all there.
I particularly like the Stella Artois pint glasses in the Days - that was my main reason for booking into there again. They are long glasses with a stem on the bottom - highly recommended.
Hmmm, last time I left the Days I was a bit worse for wear and left a load of clothes hanging in the wardrobe. I couldn"t be bothered to go and collect them, that was about 6 months ago - I wonder what my chances are lol ;D
Ok mugs fishes and donks, see you in Luton.
