Hi fellow APATer"s, we"ve recently launched a Poker Forum for those out in the wild"s of North Norfolk, at www.northnorfolkpokerforum.com for all the locals that enjoy a game, which to be fair is generally played in the APAT spirit, if not the APAT standard and we have recently been challenged by a Poker Forum in Suffolk to a team and individual event.
Would any other Forums be interested in taking part in what we would hope would be a fun event, held at a local poker room, probably in Norwich?
Final details are yet to be ironed out, including buy ins and duration etc but it would probably be self dealt on a deepstack basis and depending on numbers could be run over one or two days.
If anyone is interested, please let us know your contact details and we can keep you informed of developments.
Likewise, if any other forums are looking for a team to take part in their event, let us know, as we are always up for a weekend away.

Hello,
Thanks for the post on my thread.
Yes we are interested. VERY interested..
But I would need some time to organising a team trip weekend away.
So any information ASAP would be grateful.
More time to organize the better.
Thanks in advance.
PS: PM me and I will give you my personal email if you wish so I can be added to a mailing list for team events.

Thanks for the reply Sean.
Everything is in the early stages at the moment but we hope to be able to arrange something for early next year, once we know when the APAT events are, so as not to coincide with them, as they are all great fun.

Great.. please keep me in the loop.
I am sure I will be able to get at least one team to come.
I have posted a reply on your forum if you care to read.
As it is in the early stages I would just like to add that having your event in a Saturday would be a lot easier for me to convince my team to come.
BUT I know it is to arranged around the APAT schedule.
Just a thought.
Please keep in touch

Will do Sean.
It will almost certainly be at a weekend, so that any visiting teams / forums can make a weekend of it if they wish and we can play a proper structured tourney.

Hi Andrew & Sean,
For your information, a very high percentage of APAT forum members visit the APAT site solely for information on APAT's own events. A lot of our members are affiliated with UK forums and may consider entering your tournaments as members of those forums. APAT would not send a team for this reason, as we have not to DTD or other forum challenges.
We wish you the best of luck with your events though and would encourage you to run registration fee free wherever possible.
Regards,
APAT Customer Services.

I may just have to sign up for the North Norfolk forum sometime soon. I"ve always said the season 2 Yarmouth regional players were ready to conquer the world. Bring it on
-
I could rustle up a team from Peterborough to join in the fun if you wanted

Monkey Man, are you sure you are up to the challenge????
I"ve seen you play remember and I know your taste in music, so you"ll always have "Less Than Andy" ;)
