Title: APAT Season 2 - Membership

Membership

* Professional Membership - Just curious as to the rationale behind having professional members of an Amateur association and allowing them to vote on the affairs of that associaiton? Not saying it"s right or wrong... just curious, is all.

I guess they will be able to provide their expertise and use their "image" and dare I say "fame", to provide more weight to whatever APAT tries to introduce or champion?

I also can"t see more than a small percentage of the membership comprising of professionals, so APAt are likely to have the advantage of their expertise/experience but without the risk of them being able to over ride the wishes of the amateur majority.
