Title: Walsall Seat Wanted - Please?
Post by: Noe on January 17, 2009, 15:59:30 PM
With my hotel room pre-paid and efforts made in the satellites - I was gutted that my 9:04 transaction failed to secure me a seat.  So like everybody else in this forum area, I would very much like a seat if your plans should change and your ticket is up for grabs.

My mobile is 078258941953 so please text me so we can start the proces with APAT and quickly get the ££ transfer across bank accounts, pay pal, poker account, etc.

Alternatively, email me or look me up on MSN lnpurdie at gmail dot com

Thanks ever so much,
Noe

Does this website plea ever result in gaining seats?

Most seats that are sold are sold through this board....so yes.

Though you will normally have to wait untill the week before the tournament before there is any real selling/buying action!!

Good luck!

It"s usually a case of you logging on here regularly enough in the hope that you"re lucky enough to find someone trying to sell a seat and that YOU get back to them first. Some people prefer to make a list of names then pull one from a hat, giving them 12 / 24 hours to complete the transaction. It"s really up to the seller.

The only rules we enforce are that the ticket is sold at the face value of £75, that ALL correspondence is clearly stated on the thread for ease of tracking changes and that Des is informed fully of the change of player details. As posted in a similar thread, offers can be made - "bidding" for the seat almost - ie. to make the seller WANT to sell to you, you can buy the seat at £75 and offer him / her a % of your winnings.

Well its safe to say I am checking regularly!  But cannot access this during work hours I suspect, as all poker related sites are usually snagged by the Network.  :(

Good luck all

How sad is it that I thought about this thread several times on my way home from a business trip in London.  Came in, barely hugged my husband and couldn"t repeat a thing he rattled on about as I logged into the internet to check !

Good luck to all playing Tuesday.  Fingers Crossed.

I very dear friend of mine, Robyn, and I had already agreed to split the cost of the trip.  I paid for hotel in advance and we planned the weekend together.  Neither of us secured a seat during the clickfest.  However, since we had our hopes up for it and paid for hotel already - hey ho - we will go up anyways and put our names on reserve.

So my win tonight is bitter sweet, as now I am in and she will be on her own.   :-[

So RAO is still seeking and she has been ill the past few weeks so I will post this for her. I am sure she will add to the thread when she is well enough to get up and about.
