The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is pleased to introduce an exciting new way to qualify for their £1,000 Main Events, where even those who don't claim the main prize of a seat in the tournament get a second chance to win some cash!
In the new "Extra Bite" Satellites 10 players will compete for a seat, with the winner only eligible for 50% of any winnings in the Main Event. The remaining 50% will be distributed amongst the other participants as follows:
1st GUKPT Seat (for 50% of winnings)
2nd 10% of winnings
3rd-10th 5% of winnings
Therefore if you get your aces cracked in the first hand of the satellite, you will still be eligible for 5% of any winnings that the satellite winner manages in the GUKPT event!
Look out for these new "Extra Bite" satellites running 4 times a week starting on Wednesday February 4th at Blue Square Poker (http://www.bluesq.com/bluesquare/bspoker/downloadclient.shtml?AFF_ID=800). Be sure to register early though as they are expected to fill up fast!
Mondays 8.30pm $160+$10
Wednesdays 9.30pm $160+$10
Fridays 9.30pm $160+$10
Sundays 9.30pm $160+$10
Additional "Extra Bite" online satellites will be scheduled according to demand, and live equivalents will also be available during GUKPT Festival weeks in Grosvenor and G Casinos.

Would any APATers be interested in an APAT exclusive one of these ?

yes, although cost would be beyond me for a ME seat - would require a prize pool of £1000, so £100 each, or $150. If I was willing to spend that on a satellite, I would pay the $109 and join the normal satellites.
For the Black Country Poker Club, BSQ are hosting one of these for us with a seat in a side event at GUKPT Walsall - total prize pool £165, which requires around $25 buy in per person, and same principles in place for winnings share. Much more palatable for me, and would be interested in playing more at this sort of buyin.

I have emailed their support asking to run some sub satellites to these if its possible as I think the $170 might be beyond a lot of players who would like to take part.
If that sounds a possibility Jamie can you get in touch please.
Thanks
