Hey im going to L.A this summer for a few days before vagas, any of you guys got any hotels you would recomend pref near the beach?

tbh If I were u I would skip LA and head further south to San Diego.  LA is on the whole pretty horrible in comparison.  Stay in San Diego, play in the Sycuan which is a v nice casino, take a day trip to Mexico, have a nice 6 hour drive through the desert and drive into the strip at night.

I agree LA is the pits! But if you"re staying anywhere the Santa Monica area was pretty cool, when I was last there 22 years ago! :D

... just jump in a cab and head to the Commerce Club Casino ... it is a long way out ... but enormous card room full of crazy players ... they have beds too ...

She will enjoy Vegas way more than LA.
