Congratulations to APAT Member and Sky Poker Producer; Aisling Collins, who won the PartyPoker.com Women's World Open earlier today. Aisling, who finished 14th in the 2007 APAT Irish Amateur Poker Championship, took the $50,000 first prize, trophy and title.
In a field that included inaugural WSOP Europe Winner Annette Obrestad, WSOP Bracelet holder Jennifer Tilly, EPT Dortmund Champion Sandra Naujoks, UK Women's Poker Tour Champion Lynne Beaumont, European Ladies Champion and APAT Member Liv Boeree and Sweden's Cecilia Nordenstram, Aisling triumphed using a particularly aggressive style of play throughout.
Very well done to Aisling.
