Each satellite will offer a seat for every $150 in the prizepool (£75 seat + expenses)

We are aware.  They will be staying at 9pm due to the number already registered.

Entertain yourselves for a hour.   ;D

We do keep telling Blue Square, when Mickey is on the eight and Minnie is on the twelve, that"s when the tourneys need to start.   ;D

Are we going to look at the Package players win in these sats.

I believe that we could be losing at least 5 seats due to the $150 package.

I understand that exchange rate is the issue.  We just take what ever the BSQ exchange rate is and we the work out £75 and pay these as seats.

What are others opinions.

"Not sure whether to play these or not - PM sent to Des"  Sir Percival.

Very cryptic Skip, do elaborate.

I guessed 2 final tablists at the last event do I get a clickfest get out of jail card?

Yes you do Mike, pm me if you want to use this option.  The option is also there for the top ten in the rankings, the top three in the Scottish Online Championship and the defending Champion.  Let me know if anyone of these players want to buy in direct.

Blue Square have mistakingly put the sats tonight at 9pm, instead of the normal time of 8pm.  We"re going to have to leave these up at 9pm as several players are registered and I feel it would be a good deal worse if players show up an hour late for this as opposed to an hour early.  Apologies in advance if anyone ends up playing well beyond normal bedtime.

Why can"t bluesq get it right?  9 o"clock is too late for school night imo.

Can you make the one tomorrow a $20 buy-in as well, make it an 8pm start and then at least there"ll be more seats available?

Just a thought.

I think your right but it makes things complicated and exchange rates can change in minutes.

I like the idea of whoever finishes with the extra money being given the choice to buy a seat before the clickfeast.

I was in for an early night tonight - still not recovered from sleepless night at DTD on Saturday.   For some reason, registered for the FullTilt 34k gtd at 7pm half expecting to donk it away by 8pm...... but am now sat 73/505 at second break. Perhaps late night after all.

Congratulations to the nine players who have won their seat to Edinburgh tonight :-

In no particular order

pawprint75 - Leigh Wiltshire
Ant66 - Ant Williams
CaratasMzee - Tom Steuart-Feilding
DaddyBadger -
Flincher - Blair Kirkland
Hoshe - Derek Liddle
Logie66 - Don Logan
scottishbawbag -
sundancejon - Jon Garrett

And very unlucky to Gimac1 who after what seemed like ages, went out on the bubble for $50.

Blinds were going up and we were down to 11/12 and needed to double up.  There was lots of stealing going on and a bit of shoving and eventually two half decent hands were going to collide.  He was on the wrong end of it.

Leigh,
Can I just clarify the money that we "won" last night in the online qualifier is automatically used to buy a seat in Edinburgh and the remainder paid into the bluesqr account? So I don"t need to buy a seat at clickfest (I thought I read somewhere a long time ago that the online qualifiers meant that you were guaranteed a seat but still had to buy it, maybe that was last year?)
Jon (sundancejon)
p.s. well done last night.

Jon,

Well done on last night.  Your seat is secure for Edinburgh and the balance will be paid into your Blue Square account, usually after a gentle nudge towards Blue Square from us.

See you in Edinburgh.

It"s another 9 o"clock start.

To give you an idea, last night saw 70 runners, with a final table starting just before midnight.

Would expect a similar time (or earlier) with the same structure for the $10 tonight.

Tomorrow"s rebuy is another story though.  At $5, there are usually a lot of chips in play come the addon, so that may last a while.

They should have all been done ages ago.  Have you checked your sportsbook balance, as sometimes they transfer it in there.  If not, we can raise it when we nudge them for the Scottish balances.   ;D

Well done on getting a seat last night.

All you need to do is turn up at the venue on the day.

If you are not a member of the Gala Maybury, you will need to do that on the day, so photo ID will be required.

There will be a players briefing posted on the forum nearer the time, so sit back, soak up the forum and look forward to seeing you in Edinburgh.

Oh, and welcome to APAT.   ;D

And very unlucky to Telmison4 who went out on the bubble for $60.

2:30pm start on both days Alan.

Difficult to get a finishing time on the Sunday, but you would hope to have the trophy in your hands around 9pm.

Currently 19 runners in for tonights $5 rebuy satellite, starting at 9pm.

These are normally carnage for the first hour and usually provide more seats per player than the $10 freezeout.

I"m not sure who holds the APAT rebuy record at the moment, but I"m sure Scouse, Kinboshi and Boddders have got close to double figures in previous tourneys.

Good Luck all.

Oh well I"m out already.

Don"t play a hand for quite a while, raise with pkt pr, All money goes in on flop as it"s a rebuy ;D Lose to bigger overpair :-\

Re-buy next hand QQ, > x5(150), 2 callers. great looks like steaming...hehe. 8 hi flop, bet 300, get re>"d after 1 fold, i re> All in, called by K-8, and you just know it, 8 + 33 river has to be........................ yes 8 for f/hse. woohoo!!

option to re-buy again?  well i know it"s totally random, the engineered software is not designed to generate rake ;)
but i decline and decide to cut my losses.

GL to all still in, and hope to c u all in bonny :)

How quick are you with these results??  ;D

and chuck was v v v unluckly esp as I flopped a str8 flush on the bubble blind v blind in an unraised pot. I could only min raise on the river as I was shaking too much to type anything else and risk folding by mistake.

See you in Edinburgh. Hope Chuck gets a seat s/he deserves one

This calls for a triple smiley  :) :) :)

Yes - it was a bit unfortunate to flop that straight. I should have just called the river though.
Will be having a go at the credit card shuffle tonight...

Thanks for quick reply Leigh re starting times.

I was already intending to stay until Monday whether I"m still in on the Sunday or just watching/supporting/propping up the bar.

Congrats to all last nights qualifiers.

Can"t find anything online, but I recall from last year that Sunday night was deepstack night at the Gala Maybury.

Don"t get too excited though, their idea of deepstack was 3k chips and it was self dealt.  I recall donking chips off in first five minutes and playing a tighty sit n go instead.

If any locals have more details, would be interested to know.

Leigh,
Currently at the Maybury on a Sunday night is a very Juicy £10 rebuy.

They may change this knowing who is appearing from APAT.   :D :D

Here is the final player list for the 2009 Scottish Amateur Poker Championship, being played at the Gala Maybury Casino, Edinburgh on July 18th & 19th.

There wasn"t space for every player who attempted to get in, so seats were allocated strictly on a first come first served basis.  Entries were pre-authorised, so if your name does not appear on the list below, your pre-authorisation will be cancelled.

PLAYER LIST

Raymond Crowe
Richard Rudling-Smith
Rob Swindells - Sunday Warm Up Runner Up
Robert Burke
Robert Kirkwood
Ross Johnson

the way it should be :P

the circus does a good sunday tourney

£20 with 1 re buy OR add-on

start time of 4pm and each buy in/rebuy/add on gives you 5-7k from memory

blind levels start at 25/50 too so it can be quite a long affair

Start with 4k the rebuy / addon is for 6k, (you only get one). First 2 blind levels are 1 hour each, thereafter the blind levels are 25mins.
its a good game only needs more runners as only gets 30 ish

Cheers
